"[removed member name], I am sorry that you feel that is how the situation transpired. We do care about our customers and are constantly striving to do better, I apologize for any discontent. The facts of the situation for any perspective customers are as follows. According to our service records, In the beginning of August 2011 [removed member name] Left his bike, the service was completed, and the bike was picked up, all as mentioned in his review. The one variable that tied our hands in our ability to pay for damages, is that [removed member name]'s brother picked up the bike from our shop and rode it away from the store. When the bike left our shop there was no damage (all of this according to 3 separate employees who came into contact with the bike). I am sorry to say that we have, unfortunately, damaged 2 bikes in the last 4.5 years in business (we average about 15-30 machines per week through our shop). I remember both very clearly, first because it is rare and second, each time I feel personal regret that that type of thing can happen in our shop where we take great pride in customer satisfaction. In both cases we paid for all damages in full, and the customers have nothing but praise for us and return regularly, even though they were very unfortunate situations. The issue in this specific case is that we had a third party involved. Our employees who have a track record of honesty (they had before this incident, and still do, come directly to management when mistakes are made) saying that no damage was caused. The bike was stored inside our locked shop the entire time it was here, which negates the variables of weather and wild animals. Again I do sincerely feel bad that his bike was damaged, but based on all evidence provided we did not cause that damage. In response to [removed member name]'s accusations that we had damaged the bike, Mitch (the service manager) investigated the situation, and offered to [removed member name] that we look up every damaged part and sell it to him at a large discount even though we were not guilty of his charges. We still want to make bad situations better if we ever can. The offer still stands, if he has not repaired the damages. Once again for future customers, we will continue to treat our customers professionally and fairly. We appreciate all feedback because it lets us know where our weaknesses lie, from which we can refine our processes and constantly try to better serve the people who keep us in business."
