Kincheloe Plumbing

I called Kincheloe Plumbing to set an appointment to hook up our new dryer to the gas line. The given estimate was $120 which I agreed to thinking that it was a complex and complete process. The company sent two men to install one gas line hose and use some connection puddy. All they did then was turn the gas valve on. The service technicians (LOL) did not even return the washer and dryer to their original positions because it turns out the vent tubing needed to be replaced. Kincheloe quoted me an additional $275 to replace the old flexible venting with a more substantial metal vent line. My husband ended up replacing the vent line himself and completed the connection to the dryer. As it turns out, he could have done the complete installation himself if we knew more about what was really involved with it. To add insutl to injury, we checked with some other plumbers who would have done a better job for half the money. When I called Kincheloe to ask about the price and incomplete installation, he answer was all we talked about was the gas hook up. In all fairness, the service techs did exactly as they were instructed, but Kincheloe Plumbing is way over price for their services and uncooperative to customer complaints. There was absolutely no reason to sent two technicians to install one gas line and some sealing puddy for $120. I will not use Kincheloe Plumbing again.
