He was the only service provider in town that actually seemed like he wanted our business, the others in town didn't even return our calls.
Every thing went really well, if there were one thing they could have done better is to let us know when or if they were going to be late. Other than that it was real pleasure doing business with this company.
Bob was pretty busy so he said he would fit me in the same day some how as it was Friday and the long Memorial day weekend was starting. said he would be at my place at 1130 that day if it were all right.
At 1130, Bob pulls up to look at my A/C. The first thing he sees is that there is no lock out breaker by the A/C. Bob said he did not know how that passed inspection as my house is under five years old. This is a common point made to me, 'electrical not being to code', by other electricians who have come to my house to make repairs.
Bob was booked for the day,it was Friday on Memorial day weekend, but he said he could get the parts and fix the A/C on the next Tuesday. The A/c was blowing cold air so that was fine with me. Bob got his book and gave me a price and said if the contacts were pitted and he replaced them it would cost another $100 dollars or so. Again, alright with me and I appreciated his letting me know upfront.
The following Tuesday Bob showed up when he said he would, he had the parts, he put them in, checked out the unit, cleaned and serviced it, installed the breaker box and went so far as to point out some other issues in my 200 amp service box that I should have looked at.
My A/C works, it is quite like it should be, my wife and I originally anticipated a bill three times more than what Bob charged us to do the work. We would recommend Cody heating and A/C to all of our neighbors who need repairs on their unit.
