However, I had an ongoing project and had trouble with them ordering supplies in a timely manner. They did set thing right eventually but it added more time to the project every time it happened. Their follow up customer service is hit or miss and very rarely return phone calls after.the sale is made.

The proprietors were very responsive in the beginning with free measurements, remodel suggestions and placing the appropriate orders. This is a small town and Big Horn Carpet one has some the best quality product for this area. However, Once the orders were placed it sort of went down hill from there. It took forever to get any call backs if they called back at all. It there were any problems with ordered items, it was always made right by them, but it took forever to get things done. I had to make a pest of myself with numerous telephone calls to get anything followed up on. A simple call back to just give me an update would have been most appreciated. At the end of the remodel when surplus items were returned, the accountant responsible for issuing my refund was downright rude. I will be the first to admit that I can be OCD about things but I was not angry or upset whenever I called. I just wanted things resolved. There was no reason for the rude treatment at the very end of the project. I will go out of my way to use someone else in the future which is unfortunate. Carpet One does have the best selection and is reasonably priced. If money is your issue and don't mind the poor follow up service, then you can get good prices from them , but I will never use them again. I am just glad I had my own contractor and didn't use one of theirs. That would have been another whole world of hurt if there were problems with that end of it. One last problem was when my contractor had to pick up materials the store was not open by the posted opening time. This normally isn't a big problem but it caused a number of small delays in the remodel which just added to my frustration overall.
