Excellent! The quality of the wood floor is now an asset to the home.

We built a house and had new floor put in by Unique Flooring.  They even came and agreed that they didn't do a good job and they needed to redo our floor and when we called back to reschedule it they would never answer our phone call.  I never got a refund or anything.  They didn't fix the product.  The slack that they put on the floor is dripping off, they didn't bother to do that correctly.  It was around spring in 2010 that they were here.  I would tell others that they did not guarantee their product.  They agreed the job they did was poor and they didn't do anything to correct it.  I guess their pricing is pretty normal with other people.  When we built our house they were okay.  They were fighting, in our house when they were doing it, with each other.

it took 1 day to completely refinish my entire upstairs floors. they were neat and professional.

Initially things went fine. However, after the work was completed I noticed some nail holes in the wood floor, left from where the carpet tack strips were removed that were not filled with wood filler prior to applying the polyurethane. Otherwise my floors look great.

I like the way that their crew came in with a professional and team minded orientation. They came in and put my flooring as the first priority instead of their breaks. After the work was finished I had a sink break which damaged the wood, after that I contacted him and he is coming out to repair it for free. They are so wonderful, polite, and have done a great job. I definitely recommend them to anybody! He even came in under estimate!

After hearing they were the "best in town" we expected a care and professionalism that was seriously lacking. The owner would tell us they were going to be here to work on a certain day and, not bothering to say a word, just not show up. Communication was lacking at every turn during the project. We assumed, rightly or wrongly, that contractors haul tear-out trash. They didn't and even left their drink and lunch trash for us to deal with. We felt this was unprofessional and disrespectful. My husband had to ask that the dirt piled up behind the downstairs radiators be vacuumed up. The finishers had left it and applied the first 2 coats up to the piles. It was surprisingly appalling. One thing that bothers us in particular is the dirt left under the kitchen radiator with a "finish" over it. It's embarrassing and looks awful. The owner never showed up for a final walk-thru nor returned our house key to us. We have noticed, after moving in, that a couple of the floors seem to be missing the final finish and under the clawfoot tub in the downstairs bath it seems to be bare when I try to mop. If you plan to use this company ask a lot of questions and nail down a completion date. The lack of timeliness on our job cost us an extra $1,000.00 in rent because we had to wait an extra month to move into our home. The job was not "completed" until the end of May. And we just received a bill for an extra $700.00 with no explanation or detailing.
