We were very pleased with Romero Drywall and with LeRoy. The person our plumber originally contacted to do the work would not texture the wall which would have looked terrible with the existing texture and the price he quoted was 4.25 times what LeRoy charged us. After our plumber contacted LeRoy on Monday, he came over from Cheyenne (50 miles) evaluated the job and said he could be done by Friday. They worked Tuesday and Wednesday and finished the final texturing on Thursday, a day ahead of schedule. The texture is very close to the original and once painted you can hardly tell where the line between old and new is. Taping and texturing are messy, but LeRoy and his crew kept the mess to a minimum. They were polite and professional. I have no hesitations in recommending them and if needed I would hire them again.

I called multiple local drywall companies listed here to get an already sheet rocked 3 car garage primed and textured. Most of the companies took multiple days just to get an estimate done, then were weeks out to perform the work. The prices were way too much for what I needed. When I called Leroy, he came out the same day and gave me an estimate 60% cheaper than the closest competitor. He also fit me in between his larger jobs and had it done the next week! I would have given this company a solid A if they would have done a better job with masking and clean up and kept better communication on when they would be at my house. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Work looks good and took 3 or 4 days.
Although the end result is almost what I wanted there are a few areas that would keep me from using them again:
1. The crew needed to delay part of my job to complete a job they had previously started. I was not notified so I wasn't sure if they were coming back to finish the work or not.
2. Start times were not clearly communicated. When by 10 am I had to call to find out if they were going to come out that day I began to lose faith in the team.
3. I have dogs and cats. The first day it took them no time to tear down the walls. When they left for the day they did not clean up the floor beyond removing the large pieces of drywall they had removed. I spent the hour after they left picking up nails out of the floor so the animals or us for that matter didn't get hurt.
4. When they did the demolition they did not cover any appliances, furniture, etc .
I had a huge mess to clean up. As part of the remodel we were also replacing the floors so we told them to not be concerned about cleaning the floor. I should have been a bit more clear and stated not to worry if they can't get it completely clean.
Getting the drywall dust off of appliances, counters, cabinets, furniture in the livingroom, etc was a challenge that I do not want to go through again.

He came over on Thursday evening and was able to come over Tuesday morning finishing job on Monday, Tuesday he worked on the area's then came back on Thursday to finish the texture part. It looks great it is a art to match old texture with new texture and I had 2 walls that were heavy texture and I was totally happy with service and price

Overall Leroy and his crew did a excellent job. There was some tricky transitions between existing drywall and the new and they did a great job blending the two so you cant even tell. They were in and out within a two week time frame and everything looked great! The only reason I did not score them well on responsiveness and punctuality is Leroy had many jobs going at the same time as ours and his crew would say he was coming the next day and then it would be a no show. He always answered the phone and was very professional. We just had to deal with animals inside at the time and that was a bit of a challenge to plan around his crew and then they don't show. Other than that we were very satisfied with the work.

The company performed the work as per bid. Leroy finished the job early. They did leave mud drips all over my hardwood floors and in my bathroom. They dumped their mud in my jacuzzi bathtub over my jets and didn't clean it up.

Romero Drywall gave a very competative price for hanging, texturing, and painting drywall in our 1867 sq ft basement finish. They started on the date agreed, and were suppose to be out in a week.. It ended up being two and a half weeks, as we were worked in around other job sites, BUT, all and all, we were happy, as the finished product was of high quality. Mr. Romero is completely concerned with the quality of his finished product. So, if you are able to be a little flexible with time, we highly recommend Mr. Romero's company.

Leroy was very courteous and his price reasonable. He was available when I needed him in a hurry. His crew was also very professional and friendly. They had to scrape the popcorn and fixed about every wall in the kitchen where drywall was cut out to get to the electrical wires. We also extended one wall that had to be dry-walled. They worked in phases. First to patch up all the holes. Then to tape and mud. Sand and mud and then to texture the walls. They matched the rest of the walls very well. Overall the job was done very well. I have no complaints other then they come too late in the mornings to start the job and they did leave a HUGE mess for me to clean. I am sure if I said anything they would have cleaned it but I expected them to do it regardless.

Romero Drywall gave me a quote of almost 1/4 the price of the other guys. The project was done in the time frame that I was hoping for and the finished product is awesome! I'd highly recommend them for these services and plan on using them again in the future!

The guys from Romero Drywall were awesome. They arrived at the agreed time and set up quickly, paying special attention to covering or taping anything in the room we did not want sprayed. The popcorn texture came down quickly, but that was when we realized the extent of the bow in the old drywall. Leroy (owner) discussed our options and the costs associated with each. Removing the old drywall and shimming to make it flat wasn't much of an option, as was doing nothing and living with it, so we agreed to his suggestion of installing 2X4's across the old ceiling and a new layer of drywall. The end product is exceptional. The job, originally projected for three days, wound up taking a week with the additional work, which had to impact their schedule, but there was no indication that we weren't their first priority. The job looks great, the wife is happy (woo-hoo!), and the cost was very reasonable. An excellent job all the way around, and I would happily recommend Romero Drywall to my friends.

They came promptly to do the estimate and showed up the following Monday to begin the project. It was difficult; I had plants in place that could not be moved and there were several difficult skylights to drywall around. Then we added more work; ie: painting the new drywall and sanding and staining the redwood deck flooring. They took on the extra work with another very reasonable estimate and they delivered!

My wife called the company and spoke to Romero (the owner) to get an estimate on Friday. He came out that same day and gave us a quote that blew all the other estimates out of the water (the next cheapest was $400 more). His quick response and friendly attitude also sold us right away and he gives military discounts. Romero showed up Wednesday morning, as agreed, to ensure all the materials were delivered and his guys got to work. They hung all the drywall and cleaned up all the waste that day; I was impressed. The next day Romero and his sidekick taped and muded the entire basement. Two days later (it took an extra day for the mud to dry), Romero and his sidekick sanded and applied another coat. The day after the holiday weekend, 5 July, they returned to apply the finishing touches, spray texture, knockdown, and cleanup. Did I mention they completed their work in less time than the others told us through a holiday weekend. The final result looks great and I cannot be happier.
