Excellent determination of what was wrong and fixed in no time.

First of all, he called back. Jim arrived when he said he would. Jim was conscientious about his work and cleanup when finished. If we need more work done we will call him as well as recommend him to others.

Hired Jim & Co to remove and replace knob and tube wiring , update circuit board and outlets. Job completed on budget and within expected time frame.

Jim did an outstanding job and under budget. Will definitely use him again for future projects.

Be prepared to pay more than the proposal he provides. We agreed to $1700 and paid 50% when we scheduled. However, when we received the final invoice the total price had increased more than $500 even though there is a statement on the proposal that any change in cost would be done in writing. I would expect that a significant change would have been mentioned during the time the work was going on, not after it was completed. Especially since a homeowner was present almost the entire time the work was being done.

Jim is a great guy. Thorough, professional and has a great personality. I will gladly hire Kotch Electric again for any electrical needs.
