 + -1 moreOverall the work was completed. Mr. Lopez seemed to be anxious to finish my few projects and return to another job. The mirror was hung improperly with a wire in the middle instead of on the metal hangers provided with the mirror. I would have like to have had a few more projects completed but I felt he was in a hurry to continure onto the next job. He did not give me an itemized bill so I do not know how much the paint had cost or a few screws he purchased, it was more of a receipt. The total charge was $265.00, way more than he had quoted and charged me for more hours than he provided. I called Mr. Lopez the next day and expressed my concern about the amount of the bill for hours actually spent. He was not pleased about the converstion and said he thought the charge was within reason. He asked me if I would like a $70.00 refund, I stated that would be up to him. I did not recieve the refund.
Description of Work: I have recently moved to Cheyenne and I am in my seventies. As I was unpacking a getting my house established, there were places I could not reach or could not use a ladder properly, I also had a window which would not close. I chose this company from an ad in the newspaper stating he was licensed and insured. The day was cold and rainy and I need the window closed. I call Mr. Lopez and he said it would have to be the next morning. He did arrive and corrected the problem. I asked him about getting help with the few projects I could not handle myself such as placing a picture and decoration over the stair well, assemble hardware and pieces for a mirror I could not hang myself. He also leveled a stereo cabinet and installed a shelf for the cabinet. He and a helper decided to make a trip to the hardware store to match paint for exposed holes in the wall. It is my estimation, he spent maybe two and one half hours with the trip to the store. His quote was $70.00 an hour.
