Rachel was amazing! She treated my dog so well, and was so kind and sweet. She gave me recommendations on how to brush my dog at home.

The cuts are adequate but not great.  I am always concerned about the safety of my pets because they put them on a short leash on a shelf. They do appointments and they are usually right on time!

Asked if the owners worked on Saturdays and I was barked at, and quot; We have families too you know.and quot; Wow! Customer service and politeness works for me. We did try our dog there after Susan left but he became once again neurotic about an injured foot. De-sensitivity training had to begin all over again!

We called around noon to see if we could get our 3 labs in before the holiday weekend. They stayed late just for us and charged us next to nothing. They have even offered to pick the dogs up at our house for no extra charge.Very friendly and informative.

Our three-legged dog had been going there for haircuts for some time. The dog was known to run off from my then boyfriend and run down the block rather than going inside. We decided that I would pick up the dog next time in order to see just how and quot;Four Pawsand quot; handled things with this special needs dog.
I entered the building and was not greeted at all for several minutes. All employees seemed to be busy with other animals. As I looked around I expected to see some hair but not the large amount that it appears was left from all day. Our dog was leashed to a cubicle and forced to and quot;sitand quot; in an upright position. I had to assume he was there the entire time he was not being worked on. I did not see any water bowls for him or any other dogs.
Again, let me reiterate my dog has only 3 legs and is not capable of sitting upright for more than a couple of minutes at a time. The majority of the time he needs to lie down.
I spoke to the groomer about the special needs and they and quot;assuredand quot; me that this was not how he spent his day. The dog literally ran out of there and beat me to the car.
The next visit I tried to bribe the dog to go in with a cheeseburger. He spit it out at me
I am a firm believer in listening to your children about strangers. Children and dogs have an intuition about people. If you can not bribe the dog with a cheese burger to go into a building, than you must believe something bad has happened to them there.

I've struggled to find someone who grooms him without making him look like a lion. Sounds bad but it's true. Four paws was able to know exactly what I was talking about and NOT do that. I'll go to them again in the future. They have a good little set up in there and the staff seems to be really pet-loving.

Our groomer, Susan, has been with them for quite awhile and she takes very good care of my pets, and has even waited after ours for me if I am running late. She is very kind, open, and flexible. My dogs always look great.
