CHEYENNE HEATING & COOLING

Installation was successful. Also learned that trade tariffs pushed up prices on all heating unit materials.

After a chilly night in which my furnace wouldn't run long enough to heat the house up to the temperature set on the thermostat, I started calling service companies first thing in the morning. Chuck said he had a lot of calls scheduled but would call me later in the day when he could stop by.
He called that afternoon, and I met him at my house 10 minutes later. He quickly diagnosed the problem (a clogged water line was causing water to build up in the fan) and fixed it.
Chuck was friendly, professional, prompt and got the job done quickly.

Great - see above. Chuck is a professional and called an hour before he would be there and when he was almost there so I could corral my dogs. I will absolutely use his company again.

Showed up on time, did a quick diagnosis on furnace and replaced igniter. furnace working fine. Was concerned about CO gas between furnace and water heater. Tested and said might want one, and had one with him. Asked if he knew about gas fireplce and he fixed that. I asked if he knew someone who could fix screen door. He took a look and got it working fine. Would definately hire again and recommend highly.

I found his company through another internet service.  I called him and he said he would be over in a couple of hours.  He showed up on time.  I showed him to the basement and explain some other work that I had done by someone else.  He fixed the problem by tapping on the gas pipe.  Apparently some dirt had plugged the gas nozzle. He made some other adjustments to the furnace to make it more efficient.  I mentioned to him I was concerned about the heat exchanger so he accessed that area and inspected it.  He assured me it was in good shape for the age of the furnace.  He then asked how the thermostat worked and I explained it worked fine but that it would get about 3 degrees colder than the set temp before the furnace kicked in. He said he thought he could fix that and when I brought him upstairs he reprogrammed the thermostat to work more efficiently.  I was very pleased with him, he was professional, polite, and helpful.  I have had other service people do work for me but he was by far the best I have encountered  here in Cheyenne. 

They did not show up or call to reschedule.We had to call another company to come a few days later. Meanwhile we have been without the use of our heaters because we wanted to get them cleaned and inspected before we turn them on.We were inconvenienced because we set aside a day for them to come and didn't make any plans for that day!

Cheyenne Heating & Cooling are great. Two years ago our old furnace gave up about 4 am and we called them at 6 and by 9 am they had the new furnace put in. They did very good installation work and had no problems passing the city permits. They are very professional. I will use them in the future.
