Capitol Roofing did a great job replacing my roof from the start of the process to the finish. Their quote team was flexible about making appointments around my work schedule and they arrived for appointments on time or slightly early. The roof was ruined by hail, and Capitol Roofing even helped me deal with the insurance claims agent. Their familiarity with hail damage evidence and roofing best-practice standards resulted in a surprisingly smooth claims process. Everybody I worked with was friendly, cordial and professional, including the people who answer the phones in the office. The project supervisor stayed in close contact with me, and I felt like I could safely leave the work to him and not have to micro-manage. Capitol Roofing knows how to use technology and can be easily reached by email or phone (yes, they text!). There was a tree in the way of the project, and they also found someone to take care of that problem for me. Capitol Roofing carries the Cowboy Code of Ethics on the back of their business cards, and they sure lived up to it for me.

They ended up charging higher than the original estimate. When they gave me the estimate they didn't realize there was more that had to be done that would cost us more. They said this extra work had to be done or they would not be able to finish the other work. It ended up being an extra one thousand dollars on top of the original estimate. Besides that, the work was good and they left the area clean afterwards.

John from CapitolRroofing worked with the insurance adjuster. This was a big help.
The crewy showed up when scheduled which was important because we had to keep our dogs off property and prepare the house.  It would have been very inconvenient if they hadn't done the work on that day.  The crew got the entire roof completed in one day and it is a big roof.  They did a great job of clean up leaving no sharp objects or nails or mess around.

They did a great job. Everything looks great. They estimated $250 for the job, and they charged me exactly that. He is a really nice guy, and I was walking out when I met him. He just said they were here to do the roof, and it was done when I got back. Their price was fair, it was comparable to the estimates we had gotten. Their punctuality was great. I got a call at 7:30 saying they would be here at 8:00 and they were here at 8:00.

I was very pleased with the work that was done! They are expensive, but you pay for what you get.  They put some extra materials on the edges of the roof I was not aware of could be put on. It took a whole day to complete, the reason I mention this is my last roof was put on by a different company in a half day and I was never pleased with the results, these guys were not in a rush to get done and move on, they even painted the exhaust pipes for a nice finished look.  A few issues I will mention, I asked that they call me when they delivered the roofing materials because of concerns with my driveway, they did not.  I also had a time of it to get them back to straighten an exhaust pipe and would not complete payment till it was done. I would have them do my roof again because overall it was a super job!

Capitol did a great job with the roof and gutters.  The tore off and disposed of two layers of shingles on my house roof, and more shingles on my garage. I think I only found a couple of roofing nails in the entire yard after they finished, which is remarkable.

The roofing went extremely fast, finishing the garage one day, coming back and doing the house and porch the next, then installing rain gutters on the third day.  All told, the entire project took 4 days from start to finish.

I had a leaking/drainage problem with my gutters that I didn't notice until several months after the initial install.  They came out and fixed them the same day I reported the problem.

I would definitely use Capitol roofing again.

As area had surface hail damage, like everyone else had to wait.  But once starting roofing it took two days to complete the job.

I stopped at their booth at the Home and Garden Show in Cheyenne. I asked for a roof replacement, gutters, soffits and facia estimate. They did and come and inspect the roof while I was at work. I have made 3 calls to the company to get them to give me an estimate. No followup only excuses the inspector had a bad cold. Geez this has been 6 weeks now. I heard great things about their work. I just can seem to interest them in doing work for me. I think I have been more than fair with the company. They apparently don't want work or are poorly managed. Guess I will go somewhere else --- sorry Capitol Roofing I tried to give you a shot.

It took a dozen phonecalls, several e-mails, and 10 days off to get a 1000 sq ft house and a 12x12 shed properly roofed.

It took a while for the roofers to get to me since there was lots of houses with similar hail damage. They completed the work very quickly. The bill did not come until October. Then their bid was confusing and did not have the total amount due after deposit. After reviewing the bid with them, they adjusted their bill. It does seem though that their gutter guys did not always check to make sure the gutters were level. I am having some leaking now.

James came out and looked at my roof. I had been told by another company that we would have to completely tear off one section of the roof to fix the leaks. James came out and showed me what needed to be fixed. He also showed me all of the things that were not in need of repair. He sent me a brochure of the product he would use. He fixed the roof for $3,500 less than another company quoted me. They did the repair quickly and guess what, no leaks!

We got the roof put on and we ordered tubed solar skylights to go with the roof as well.  They said it wasn’t their job to finish the skylights and put it through into the house.  My husband tried to fix it and tried to get extra tubing from the company and they directed us to call the solar tube company that sold it.   The solar company came out and informed us that we were charged double what the skylights normally cost (plus labor).  Also, one of the vents that they put in leaks.  We have contacted them a number of times and they still have yet to fix the leak.  I am happy with the quality of the roof, but am upset with the fact that I was ripped off with the price of the skylights and the leak in the vent.  They also damaged the gutters while putting on the roof and that hasn’t been fixed yet either.  Our grade is on the skylight and vent issue, we are happy with the roof job.  I would use this company again with reservations and would be forewarned of the kind of work they do.

Between Angies List and a few friends of mine  recommending Capitol, I called to set up a visit for an estimate.
I spoke with Brenda in the office told her the situation and that I would like someone to come out and give me an estimate on the repair.  She told me that it would probably take a week to 10 days to have someone come by.  I did ask that  the office call when the person would be stopping by so I could make sure I was home.   Meanwhile I had my insurance company look at the roof and give me  an estimate.
A couple of weeks went by and I called to see what was going on and asked again about an estimate. I was told they would have someone call the  next day or so.  I never did hear  from anyone.  Suddenly on Feb 2, I heard a roofer making the repairs, which was good since we had a snow storm that night and the next day.

I called the office on Monday , spoke to Brenda again about the price  and advised someone had fixed the roof.  She was going to get back to me the next day .  I didn't hear from her, but did receive the bill the following weekend.  The bill was less than wht the insurance company had quoted which was a nice surprise.   The work on the roof appears to be very well done; you can't tell where the damaged spot was.
The only problem was the responses from the office and not having anyone give me an estimate in the beginning.  Perhaps miscommunication?

the roofers showed up 2 hours after the shingles were delivered and began removing the old deck about 3 hours into it started to rain and they continued to work thru the rain to get the job done when they finished they went thru the yard with a magnet and picked up all the nails and trash  from the roof i was very comfortable letting my puppies out in the yard when they were finished and did not find any nails in my driveway or yard
they finished in about 8 hours they did a great job
after they finished i found they had accidently nailed a wire and shorted out 3 lights and a couple of outlets  when i talked to steve at capitol roofing  he said send us the bill for the electrician and we will take care of it no problem (accidents happen)
