We communicated beforehand via email which I always appreciate. I only brought in items she was interested in. She did not buy anything from me at the prices I wanted.
The store is nice and there are lots of high quality, nicely displayed items.

Both times I've gone to Avenues Antiques, I've found what I was looking for (the first time, a stand-mirror, the second, a decorative serving platter). Items for sale are well-arranged by era to help a shopper who knows what s/he wants, and to aid in browsing. On my first visit, I dropped a mobile-phone headset while paying (but didn't realize it). When I finally figured out where I'd lost the headset, I called back. The owners kept the headset at the register so I could pick it up next time I was in the area.
