Jim had to put in a new copper run from the existing water line through the house, just above the foundation, and outside to where the new sprinkler system manifold would be located.  He installed a vacuum valve to prevent backflow from the sprinkler system into the water line, per city ordinance. 
He was able to run the line through the wall of the house instead of the cement foundation.  This was a cost savings on labor.  It took him about 4 hours of actual on-site work to complete the install.  He worked on a couple of very hot (90 plus degrees) days.

We needed a water heater replaced, and were on a tight deadline because of a work trip. The estimate we were given for installing a tankless was 600-800, which is in line with what others quoted, but they wouldn't be available in the timeframe. About 11 trips for supplies, including me going for a $100 part,  and it ended up being $1150. No itemized list of what was used, didn't clean up at all, didn't use a tarp over the carpet, so that had to be cleaned...it was a nightmare.

Jim showed up on time and was able to do the work in 30 minutes.  The work looks good and he cleaned up after himself.  He did forget my Angie's List coupon.  He called me later and said I could call him and he would bring me the change.  I haven't had the time to do that.

Was really surprised he came two or three hours after I called. He said he's been plumbing for 35 years, so he knew exactly what to do. He used quality (and very pricy, I think there is a 100% markup) materials, said this should last about 10 years. The old lasted 30 years. One of my neighbors got this same thing done in plastic, and it too will probably last 10 years. Don't think I came out ahead on that one.
He was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up after himself for the most part. He used my basement bathroom when I wasn't looking and did not (or forgot) to flush the toilet. UGH!
Be aware that he does NOT offer the 10% senior discount this website says he does. That discount was a large part of why I called this particular plumber. He says he charges less than some other companies. Labor was approximately $100.00 an hour.  That other companies charge more may or may not be true, from what I know, but I felt I had been bait-and-switched. If this is a consideration for you, you may want some other plumber. And I think Angie's List might want to note this somewhere as well.
I would not hire this plumber again in spite of his positive points because of the above, mainly the huge bill at the end.

My Dad had a couple of water leaks under his mobile home in Cheyenne.  I called Jim in the morning and he was at my dads house by noon.  He was very nice, found the leaks and got everything fixed. I really appreciated him coming out as fast as he did.

On New Year's Eve morning we had a plumbing issue with the wast water ejector pump in our basement. After reading the positive reviews on Angie's List about All American Plumbing I gave them a call expecting to just get an answering machine. To my delight, the owner, Jim answered and scheduled a time later that same morning to come out to my home. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it up and running again and all work completed in under an hour. I was very pleased with his troubleshooting skills and his professionalism. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with plumbing issues. He not only does a good job but he is extremely friendly and courteous. Thanks again Jim!

Again this guy is the BEST! You do not need to call anyone else.

Jim was the third plumber I had called to look at this job.  He was the only one to show up for the appointment.  He started out doing a great job.  He did not finish strong.  The quality of work at the end was disappointing.  WAY over priced.

it went very well.  He did the job in a quick manner.  He was able to come within an hour of receiving the call from me.  I am very pleased with Jim's work and would definitely use him again!

My tenent had no hot water & went down to the basement & found water on the floor and called me.  I am out of state so I called around looking for a plumber.  I called Jim the Plumber and his price seemed reasonable.  He replaced the water heater and some pipes.  My tenent said he was on time and friendly and even brought dog treats for their dog.

He comes on time. He is knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy. He is all the thinks you’d want in a plumber.
