Affordable Electric

They were very nice. Came right out but it was a little expensive then what I wanted to pay.

This was a complete failure. Was provided a quote and a time table of two and a half days, and they were very adamint about paying half up front. After two days, about a half of days work had been completed. The next day no one showed, said that we were expecting a thunderstorm and could not do the work outside...No thunderstorm during the day! Then I was told that they will be there first thing Monday morning; again no one. Was called hours later to tell me of the excuse but said they will be there Tuesday morning at 0830. At 0900, got a message saying they would be unable to make it, but assured me that they would definately be there on Wednesday. I called them back and voiced my displeasure. Some of the work that was looked at and I was given a quote for could NOT be done for various reasons. They discovered (after drilling holes in my ceiling, that they could not put the thermostat on that wall. But left the 4 holes in the ceiling and cracked the crown molding(that is less than a year old). Now have holes in a few walls and in the ceiling.

The owner, whom I never got to speak with, decided that it would be best to part ways. Now I have to get them back to fix the work that they did complete then find someone to do the work that was supposed to be done Highly recommend NOT using this company. Were unprofessional, shabby work and lack intregrity. If a quote is given and an agreement has been met, the work should take place. Sometimes a few issues arise, but believe people should take pride in their work and stand by it. With the exception of the secretary, this company does not believe in that. The quote was for $2,300, half paid up front. With less than half the work done (correctly), they believe in taking the money and running. Believe if the owner would just take a look at the work performed, he would agree that their is a problem.

I am very hard to please when it comes to craft work as I am
also a Professional in the field, and no longer have the time to do my own
work. I often find areas where other
contractors need to focus to do a top notch job and I do give input.
Very little input was given and what was given was utilized
quickly. This to me indicates that Affordable wants to satisfy customers and continuously
improve. Very professional

It turned out pretty good! I haven't had any problems with the work.
