Sheet Metal Specialties INC provides a full range range of products and services involving Heating, Air Conditioning, and Custom Sheet Metal work for Residential, Commercial and Industrial customers Sheet Metal Specialties has been in business since 1987, our current owner, Steve Berdahl, purchased the company in 1997. We are one of Wyoming's premier heating and air conditioning companys. From residential changeouts or new construction, to commercial and industrial there is no project we can't handle. The technician arrived on time. He was at our house for a maximum of 15 minutes. He charged our system. While talking with my husband, he used ethnic slurs and discussed topics that to me were unprofessional. He did not write a ticket, therefore we did not sign a ticket. The bill arrived a month and a half later. I was billed for 1 hour of labor. When I called to discuss it with the company, the lady that I talked to was rude and condescending. She told me that it was my responsibility to know that they charge a minimum of one hour of labor. She said that this policy was clearly stated on the bottom of my service ticket (of which I never saw). I will never use this company again!

The fan motor for our heating and air conditioning unit quit working. Called Sheet Metal Specialities about 10am. They sent a technician about 1pm. He removed the motor and said he would overnight a new one.He returned the next afternoon, installed the new motor. What a great experience!!

I had them do Phase I months ago...went well...I promptly paid them in full. Phase II called them, guy came over to spec work...told me Maybe This Week! By next Mon I called, Maybe This Week, Next Monday I called Again, Maybe This Week, Third Mon I had to leave VM...No Response. I called on Fri, He was Out, I asked to talk to someone else...I got bombarded with...We are still doing January's committments,we are working 10 hour days, we are so busy we don't don't when we can or will get to you!? Finally...ok, I'll check with the other guy and get back to you... ZERO CALL BACKS! I understand they are busy...but refusing to even schedule in a small job at all...but telling me 4 times they would get it done!?!? Bad Business

We called these guys because our a/c went out during the hottest part of the year. Our dogs had been taking turns marking on it, so part of the grill was gone. Instead of trying to get us to buy a new unit, they helped us keep it going. They keep their sales team separate from their repairmen, so the guys that came out couldn't even tell us what a new one would cost. They just wanted to get the old one going. They came in the house and put an air intake vent in and that helped a lot with the air flow! It was very reasonable pricing, too. They were very professional and very honest.
