Piece-A-Cake

I asked for a 2 tier cake...top layer chocolate and bottom layer white, both with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. Both layers were incredibly moist and delicious. The presentation was exactly what I wanted and the price was unbeatable! Had I gone to any of the chain bakeries (Walmart, Albertson's, etc.) this cake would have easily cost me over $100 and it definitely wouldn't have been as delicious!

Everything is perfect if you order from Piece-A-Cake!  The owner is a joy to work with and she has a wonderful laugh.  The cakes are beautiful beyond your expectations but they also are yummy.  Piece-A-Cake created my nieces' wedding cake and everything went smoothly with the ordering, pricing and delivery.  It was exquisite!  I wish that I could remember the different flavors of the 3 layers.  Each one was divine.  The best part was the frosting ..... isn't that what it's ALL about anyway?!?!?!  The guests kept coming back for seconds and maybe thirds.  I've never seen an entire wedding cake devoured before.  We had to guard the top layer for the bride & groom or it would have also disappeared.  Just describing that cake has made me crave at least a cupcake from Piece-A-Cake.  Gotta go and get one now!

Cake was very good cupcakes were also good but they were supposed to have whipped frosting and had butter cream instead.

While I was planning for my June 2nd wedding, I was trying to find a high quality wedding cake that wasn't going to cost a fortune. I had tasted a couple of items from Piece-A-Cake LLC that a friend of mine had purchased and decided to contact Marsha Garcia, the owner of Piece-A-Cake, to arrange a cake tasting. Not only was Marsha VERY accommodating in regards to setting up an appointment, but she was very patient with me while I tried to make up my mind at the actual cake tasting! It was an incredibly hard decision because the samples she had provided me were so delicious!!! In fact, I had a difficult time leaving some for my fiance to taste later as he was not able to attend the appointment. Marsha made suggestions and was very open to my comments and ideas as well. After more than an hour (and going beyond her closing time) she did not try to push me into making a decision so that she could close up shop and go home. I was finally able to make my decision and put my order in and I was so pleased with my interaction with her that my maid of honor hired Marsha to do my bridal shower cake. Of course it was absolutely superb!!! Fast forward to my wedding day.....I actually cried when I saw my cake at the reception. It was so beautiful that I almost didn't want to cut into it....almost. And it tasted even better than it looked!!!! I love cake. I am a "cake snob". Marsha Garcia makes the best cakes I have ever had. Ever. I mean...ever!!!! I will not go to anyone else!
