My Bengal had his teeth extracted on a Monday. They sent us home with oral antibiotics. By Saturday it was clear that he was sick from the medication. I called on Saturday around 9:00 AM and left a message. Dr. Thorne called by 3:00 PM. by this time I thought they were closed so was very appreciative that he called and talked to me. He was very thorough and made sure that we could wait until Monday to see a doctor. Early Monday morning I called and was able to get an appointment for 11:30 that day. We arrived at 11:25 but were not able to get into a room until almost noon. I guess people doctors and animal doctors are the same for getting behind. We saw Dr. Huber who was very kind and was very gentle with my cat. He was understandably nervous and she did everything possible to make us both comfortable. We spoke about his teeth which she examined and rinsed to make sure that it was healing correctly. I also brought up that his arthritis was bothering him so we decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and take a blood panel to check for kidney levels and she would give me pain medication for his mouth that I could then refill and use for his arthritis provided the blood panel came back clear. Dr Huber called me that afternoon to tell me the results of the blood panel and go over the requirements of administering the medication in the future. I was very pleased with my interaction with Dr. Huber.

My Bengal came back after being missing for 12 days on a Saturday night. I called Dr. Jim Morrison and he talked to me on the phone to assess the situation. After hearing how Baloo (my cat) was behaving, he thought I could safely wait until normal hours rather than pay extra for emergency after hours care. I took Baloo in and Dr. Morrison was as always very gentle and caring. He wanted to take blood and run a panel of tests to make sure the kidney and liver functions were normal. He also wanted to hydrate Baloo through IV. Baloo ended up staying all night and most of the next day as Dr. Morrison does surgery in the mornings. However, he called me first thing in the morning to update me on Baloo's condition and then called again to let me know when I could come get him. Dr. Morrison went through the test results with me and made me very comfortable knowing that I was safe in taking Baloo home. He gave me things to look for and if I needed anything or had any questions to call him.

My Bengal cat was throwing up his food for about a week. He had also been scratching at his ear and shaking his head a lot. I called to get an appointment and when they heard that he throwing up, they got him in that morning. The doctor examined him and took some samples from his ears. He tested them and said that there was a yeast infection. He gave me a prescription of Posatex to put in his ears for 2 weeks. They also wanted to draw blood to see if there was something more than a food allergy. I took him home and later that afternoon they called and asked for me to bring him back in. The blood results showed that he was dehydrated and they wanted to give him a shot to help with the vomiting. I took him in and they gave him a fluid therapy, which is basically giving him a shot in both of his sides full of electolytes. They also gave him a shot of depmedrol to help with the vomiting. I bought some dry and wet Z/D prescription food for him to eat. All the treatments have seemed to help. He is eating, running around and happy.

I have used All Creatures for a long time when I had 2 Bengals before. I just recently got a new Bengal cat and took him in for his wellness check as soon as he came home. This last visit was a follow up as he was not feeling well and I was concerned about his teeth. I usually see Dr. Morrison but this time I saw Dr. Dona. I have always been impressed with their knowledge of small animals and their compassion and treatment of the animals. They give me good advice and are willing to answer any questions you might have. I was especially grateful to them this last time as they were willing to let me make payments on the total bill without any extra fees. They also take CareCredit if you have a large procedure and can't afford to pay for it all at once.
