Mike was very professional and thorough. He patiently and clearly answered all of our questions in the midst of going through the 300 photos he had taken around the house. His printed report was very detailed and allowed us to approach the buyer with informed requests about things we hoped to have fixed before closing.
I would like to hire him at regular intervals even when we own the home in order to have a third set of eyes on things that we may overlook.

I really was not impressed with them. They created problems that were not there. They would say everything is fine and then would see a little problem somewhere else and then confirm that everything was bad. I am not impressed with them. They were very nice and professional. They were not very thorough because they missed something that I found something later on which could have been a serious fire hazard; they missed it completely. They verified a couple of things that I was concerned about which no one else would address in the family but beyond that I was not impressed with just about anything that they did. I was trying to see the house and the buyer would not get a home inspector so I hired one for him. They said that if they had known that I had a buyer then they would not have come because that is the buyer’s responsibility and not the seller and this just opens a can of worms for the seller if bad things are found but nothing was found that I did not already know about. I inherited this house from my brother who had been ill but he tried to add an electrical line and so he had the wires strung out but not hooked up on either ends. They did not bother to verify that but said that an open ended live wire is danger; it was not an open ended wire but it was two ends not even connected to anything. They did not do that great a job. They were some issues that they found which were legitimate but some were not.

Michael Reel, owner of Integrity Home Inspections LLC, inspected a 50 year old house for us so that we could make a buy decision. The inspection was very thorough: Michael did not miss anything. He pointed out many problems that I had not caught (and I've looked at a lot of houses). The final report was complete.

Mr. Reel inspected a single-family home on our behalf (Buyer) in a real estate transaction. He took about 200 pictures and displayed them on his laptop computer when he reviewed his findings with us. He even provided a tablet and pen in case we wanted to take notes. His inspection revealed some undisclosed problems with the house and thanks to his inspection we were more prepared for the negotiations than we would have been otherwise. He not only knew what he was talking about but was able to explain it in a way that was understandable to those of us not in the business. His written report was well done and e-mailed the very next day. He was so thorough that we didn't have any other questions, but we felt that if we had any other questions he would have been happy to answer them for us.
We very definitely recommend Mike Reel and Integrity Home Inspections. It was money well spent!
