They were always punctual, professional and personable. my only regret is that I couldn't afford to have more work done while they were there. The price was very fair and the quality was excellent.

His price was very fair and the work was done well and quickly. The only reason he didn't get an A on responsiveness is that, because he's a small business, it took a couple of phone calls to contact him - a minor issue during a job well done.

The job went very well. Ed and Jose turned up on time and got to work straight away. They worked dilligently throughout the day and did a great job, finishing wel within the timelines specified. We are really pleased with the results and the price was extremely fair. We will certainly use Ed and his team in the future and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Individual was very flexible with appointment times, agreeing to come on a Saturday morning to do work. He arrived on time, was very thorough in preparing the room for painting, applied two coats of paint in a very quality manner (no drips/mistakes/etc.), cleared a clogged drain in record time and as a last minute request, hung a heavy wall picture in the kitchen. He and his assistant were very respective of our time and house and personable. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves and promptly left when the job was done. The price was very reasonable.

It was a pleasure to work with them. They were punctual and went to great lengths to protect our floors and furnishings and keep their work area clean. Their price was very fair. I have already scheduled additional work with this company.

Once the weather cleared, he was here the next day, completed the job, and cleaned up in about 1/2 day. Very professional. We'll be calling him back to do some other, unrelated work.

It went as smooth as silk! Ed helped me to hang the mirror, securely anchored the curtain rod holders into the studs in the wall, tightened the screws on the towel rack, and determined that my kitchen light needs replacing. Ed was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, professional and did the work to my complete satisfaction. I will be calling him to install the new kitchen light fixture.

I had another service on this list come and give me an estimate and it was 3 times as much money. It seemed really high, so I called Metro and got an estimate from them. Ed was great and his price was much more reasonable to the level of effort needed. When he came for the estimate, he also helped me out with some wrench work that I was having trouble doing myself. He was very helpful and it only took him a few mins. It's nice to have someone who is focused on helping the Customer ... after all I wouldn't be calling a handyman if I had the time or ability to do some of these tasks myself. Very positive experience ... have already recommended him to others.

Ed responded promptly upon my initial call, visited house to discuss my needs, called me and provided prices shortly thereafter. He is very knowledgeable, hires skilled contractors to work with him and offers competitive pricing. Ed advised that he was in the middle of a large job so we had to wait several weeks to have the work done but we were in no hurry. Once he started the job he continued to work every day until all projects were completed. Ed goes over and above to meet your needs and provide quality work. I would definitely hire him again if the need arose.

Ed is very knowledgeable, gives fair prices and is very professional. They removed an old garbage disposal and installed new one in an hour. On another occasion Ed hanged all the pictures in our condo and installed two shelves. Once again he was quick and we were very satisfied with the job he did. We highly recommend Metro Paint and Repairs and we will use their services again.

Not up to code. He uses unqualified people to do plumbing. Overbuys to avoid returns to Home Depot and stashes supplies all over your house. Good guy but all his work had problems that he didn't correct.

"hello i'm Ed Holland owner of metro paint & Repairs. In march 2004 I worked for this member. I remolded upstairs bath. Next was first floor powder room. Next was basement bath. Next was paint basement and first floor. All work was 100% complete. I used Rick Mathis From My Plumber to do the plumbing in the basement bath. About 3 months later I received a call from this member we had a leak in basement bath ceiling. This leak was caused by electrolysis. Which may have been an existing problem. I was unable to locate Mr Mathis. I used a different plumber. Big mistake. This man had personal problems he took to the job with him. After a call from this member I replaced him. Leak fixed job complete. A bout 3 months later I received another call from this member about a blockage in the swage ejector. I called Mr Mathis to schedule the needed fix. Returned a call to this member about schedule. Returned another call to Mr Mathis and was told he was handling the situation. Have not heard from either this member or Mr Mathis sense august 2004. All work was done to code in 2004. As far as stashing materials all over the house we were working all over the house. this member is a nice guy. I enjoyed working for them and would work for them again. This bath rooms are beautiful. I regret I do not have pictures to post. I was disappointed to see a C and D grade. I had no idea this member was unhappy with the work or workmanship provided by my company. We have a very good reputation. And would be happy to make this right if given the opportunity."
