The work took 3 days from time of arrival to completion. The first day was a couple hours and a sewer snake
which I received a seperate bill for. I have no concerns about this. The second day brought a young man with a shovel to dig up the sewer pipe. Yes a shovel. The temperature was incredibly hot, and another person assisted with the shovel digging up the sewer line that was approximately 6 feet underground and resulted in a trench approximately 10 feet long. During this time the young man was left alone and stopped digging only to use our phone to call for further direction. No work was performed while he waited for someone else to come and tell him what to do. Finally another person came and more digging commenced. The second day brought more digging with shovels. The contractor informed me that the grinder pump owned by the county was bad. The county was the first call and inspected the pump prior to the contractor being called. The pump was in working order. In subsequent meetings wtih the county it was found that the pump was in good working order, but was replaced to validate that it would not make any difference. The county witnessed the contractor trying to unpluf the blockage with a garden hose. Then had to leave to get another tool because a garden house wouldn't work. Yes a garden hose. Eventually on the third day, the blockage did get cleared and the sewer repaired. When my bill arrived I was amazed to see that 53 total hours were charged.. There were gaps in time where no work was performed. I respect paying travel time to and from the job site, but I do not expect to be billed for time spent away from the jobsite or when a worker has to stop and wait for direction on what to do next as well as a worker having to use my personal phone to call his boss to find out what to do next. Tweedlie's have been less than professional and their communication has been less desireable. When I questioned my bill I called for three straight days before someone would even answer the phone and still had to wait for a call back. My wife followed up with a call in which Mr. Tweedlie stated that we had been charged Saturday hours, when in fact all of the work was completed on Friday. Mr Tweedlie stated he would call her back which he never did. I received yet another bill from Tweedlies just the same as the previous and two days later received another with a late charge. It seems if you want to get Tweedlie's to contact you, email might be the best response. I have requested to pay my bill in person to Mr. Tweedlie and I have not got a respone. I should also note that I have stopped into the address on the business and have found no one there and the door locked each time.Licensing
