Mr. Alvis was prompt in contacting us for info regarding setting up our home inspection as well explaining the entire process. He welcomed any & all questions we had before, during & after the inspection and we had a lot! His report was thorough with pictures & descriptions so we had no problem understanding it. Highly recommend Mr. Alvis if you need a Home Inspection! Great guy!

My wife and I are buying a home in Teays Valley and Dan from Second Look contacted me immediately after I searched for an inspector on this site. Dan is awesome. Super friendly, super professional, and did one heck of a job on the inspection. He caught things I feel other inspectors may have overlooked, and I did not even need to be there when he inspected. He was also available immediately after we spoke and stayed in contact often. The very next day after the inspection was complete he e-mailed the report to us. It was an EXTREMELY THOROUGH 40 page report on our home detailing everything. He also consulted with a Professional Engineer we had hired to check out the structure of the home to make sure they both agreed on the condition of the home. I would 100% recommend Dan and Second Look for home inspection.

We hired A Second Look Home Inspection after we had cleaned most of the problem. The inspector, Dan Alvis, was very thorough and contacted us after the company had provided us with the results. Mr. Alvis said we had done a good job in cleaning and containing, pointed out other areas of concern, and offered advice on how to handle those areas. We are very pleased with this service and would contact them again for such future issues.
