Mr. McMinn is extremely busy (which is a good sign), but still returned my call quickly. He made arrangements to stop by and arrived as promised. 
He quickly found the problem and was able to correct it with parts he had on hand.
It was refreshing to have someone both knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Peak Electrical and will definitely call them again if any other electrical needs arise! A++

The price was reasonable. They did a very good job. The gentleman, Scott Mcminn, came that afternoon and was very prompt. Scott was professional and friendly. It was a one trip thing.

He arrived right on time, took about an hour and a quarter, cleaned up after himself, and performed professionally throughout the installation.

UPDATE: 8/11/2014 - This is an update on prior review.  I said I would use Scott at Peak Electric again, but he won't return calls or text.  I have several electrical jobs, but at this point, I feel like if I call him again I will be stalking him.  Perhaps he only performs first jobs, so don't expect repeat service.
Scott did a great job.  Had to order parts because the lights were replacing can lights, and then he had to retrofit the adapter kits and lights because nothing fit together.  He also purchased and installed a replacement motion sensor light.  Great work, professional and personable.  Will definitely use again.

He was a very nice guy. On time, clean and professional. Very reasonable price.

Great job of troubleshooting problem with breaker/light fixture problem in our 100+ year old house.  Ended up just needing our bedroom  fixture replaced or rewired,  and nothing more!

Found electrical problem, fixed it, and also found two undersized breakers and replaced them.  Responded next day after phone call and was on time.  Cost was very reasonable.

A home inspection revealed outdated wiring and other electrical issues with a house we planned to sell. When Scott assessed the situation he determined that it would take approximately one day to correct the problems. He quoted me a price and asked me to give him at least a week's notice of when I was ready for him to begin. On the day he arrived to make the repairs, he was prompt and professional. All the work was done properly and completely. Scott and his helper cleaned up the area where the work had been done, leaving no mess or litter behind. I was shown exactly what had been done and was asked if it met with my approval. I would highly recommend Scott to address any electrical issues. He is very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to associate with.  

Scott listened to what I wanted and helped me decide what would be the best plan to accommodate my needs and contain the cost. He has great insight and is very helpful. Scott is punctual, polite and very professional.

A bedroom ceiling fan had stopped working several years ago. I bought a replacement in case the problem was the fan itself and was prepared to remove drywall in the event the wiring was faulty. After removing the fan, Scott determined that the remote control module was bad. He returned two days later, as agreed upon, and installed the new module. The fan and light kit both work well now. Scott also hooked up recepticles that were not completely wired in and found wiring that was faulty and repaired it. He installed junction boxes that were missing on several spliced wires and also removed ceiling recepticles in the basement and installed light fixtures. I found Scott to be very knowledgeable, pleasant, honest, hardworking and reliable.  Before contacting Scott, I had spoken with three other electricians who said they would take on this job and would call me to arrange a time. None of those three bothered to call me back. I have more electrical work to be done at another house and will definitely use Scott again for that. 

The electrician, Scott, was very punctual and very professional.  He answered phone calls immediately, gave a cost estimate over the phone, and arrived on time to do the work.  When the work was done, the price was actually cheaper! than estimated.  He worked with me and my busy schedule to do the work in the evening.  I would eagerly and without reservation recommend him for your home electrical needs.

Scott was professional, prompt and quick.  We went through our electrical section of our house inspection and resolved all of the electrical issues.  As new homeowners it is crucial to my wife and I that our house have all the issues pointed out in our home inspection resolved.  As of this writing we do not have anymore electrical issues but if any new issues arise we will be calling Scott.

I was having issues with brownouts in my house - I hired another company to fix and after 3 service calls and 2000 dollars - I still had issues - Scott fixed the problem the first call and was amazing - I will never hire ANYONE else to do electrical work....

Very professional.  Came at the time they were supposed to.  Quickly and efficiently got the job done.  The cost was cheaper than I expected.  I was very pleased with the service.

He came at the agreed upon time and performed the service in a professional and timely manner.  He came in the evening to accommodate my work schedule and was courteous and friendly.  He answered my questions fully.  Once he isolated the problems, he had to pick up supplies to finish the job and he returned promptly the next evening as promised. When I need electrical work done, I definitely will call him.  In fact, I plan to have him return within a few days to replace several outdoor lights and two light fixtures in a master bathroom.  I was very pleased with his work.

Prompt service---Same day!   He came on time and finished quickly, about 1 3/4 hours for the job.  He was courteous, polite, and very efficient; it was nice not to have to ask someone to clean up afterward as well.  It was beyond my expectations. We will use his services again.

Initially called to diagnose a faulty breaker. Peak was the only one of several contractors I called who could do the service work that week. Came after work hours which was more convenient for me. Initial troubleshooting indicated problem was some substandard wiring. Next day I had to call back because the problem re-occurred. Came back out a few days later and determined the problem was larger in scope. Spent all day replacing wiring and meter base and things have worked perfectly since.

Professional, courteous and considerate the whole way through the process. Went the extra mile to make sure the job was done thoroughly. Would definitely recommend to others.

Scott did an EXCELLENT job. I called him and came right over the same day right on-time. He spent about 4 hours in our home, and did everything we asked and more. He fixed an issue in our bathroom with some wiring I had messed up; installed fixtures and re-routed cable/internet into a room where the Suddenlink technician said it would not be possible. He was very professional and did a a REALLY great job. He was on-time and wasn't afraid of our dogs or anything. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Charleston, WV area and will most definitely use him again if we are in need of additional services in the future.

They were very prompt. Their professionalism and the service provided were excellent. They were really competent. Overall, I rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

I chose them because of their ratings in Angieslist.  When I looked at electricians, his was at the top of seven ratings.  Nobody else had more than one.  He was very prompt in returning my calls and coming to my house and giving me an estimate.  I would highly recommend him.  He has been to my house whenever I have been available; evenings and Saturday s and Sundays.  The phrase that he said was that you had to make hay while the sun shines.  He was willing to work hard and do a good job.  He does quality work.  He cleans up well after himself.  He cycles his wiring.  He is well dressed for the job and has all of his tools available.  He works quickly and efficiently.  His price is competitive.  He forgot to be here the first night.  Then when I called him, he broke away from dinner with his mother and showed up immediately about 7.30 at night.  He is a little over worked I think.  Other than that he has always been here when he said he would be here.

Scott was very professional and did an excellent job. He was very prompt, called us and set a time for an estimate. Most importantly, he followed up with actually doing the job!!! We've had problems with contractors coming in looking at the job and either not calling back  or priced the job too high!!! His price was reasonable and we are very pleased with the results. Would recommend him to anyone!
