VanMeter himself answers his phone, a rarity these days. He was able to work my home in despite a heavy workload during a freezing spell that left many homes without gas and water in our area. When other companies were saying it would be days before they could give a quote, or were coming to give quotes but then never responding, VanMeter came immediately, gave a quote, and explained all my options. They worked us in because of the cold and the fact we were without heat, while they worked on a water main break nearby. VanMeter interfaced with the gas company to determine their requirements to get the gas back on, and ensured all the appropriate work was done, as well as all the gas company testing was completed. The workers were polite and personable, amazing considering it was zero degree weather and they were working in standing water due to a town water break. I would recommend this company without hesitation, simply because they care about their customers and ensured that the cleanup was done, despite the cold and the long line of waiting customers. This doesn't happen too often, these days. I have to give the price an "A" because the neighbor and I couldn't even get anyone else to respond during the emergency -- and who can put a price on heat when it is 5 degrees and you have pets and children??
