Pathetic excuse for HVAC tech. Jon Nibert installed both the outside and inside units. Installed the correct unit outside, but installed the wrong (much cheaper quality) unit inside. Upon installation of the inside unit, it was damaged. To avoid installing an undamaged unit, he tried to make "modifications" to the cool air returns and drilled holes in the AC blower to keep the unit from freezing up. Not only did this take place, but our unit was never registered with American Standard. American Standard requires the installer to register their products within 60 days of installation or the warranty is only good for 5 years from manufacture date. Our warranty expired in September of 2011 without our knowledge. We are now having to replace a 6 year old unit due to the negligence is the this man. On all levels, he is a crook. He installed the wrong product, damaged it in the installation and hen failed to register the product for warranty purposes.
Description of Work: Installed American Standard heating and cooling unit for builder/contractor in our unfinished home in 2006.
