The installers arrived right at the specified time and politely introduced themselves (2 men). A 3rd man arrived a few minutes
later. After the three men got the heavy door mounted, two left for another job, while the 3rd man completed the job. After he
was finished with the installation, he was very helpful in explaining how the remotes operated and gave us tips on usage and
pointed out useful information regarding the operation of the door. We felt that installation could not have gone any better. The
door seems to function properly.

They were very punctual (actually a little early). We didn't know what the problem was for sure, but when they got here I explained what was going on. They quickly discovered what the issue was and fixed it.

On an extremely hot weekend summer afternoon, the heavy metal bracket that holds one of the springs on our ancient, heavy wood double garage door broke. The door came partially off the tracks and we could't budge it. Of course both cars were in the garage! Overhead Door advertised 24 hour service so we called. The guy showed up within a reasonable amount of time and was able to fix the bracket, reattach the spring, and realign the door on the tracks. It has worked fine since then and the charge was extremely reasonable for an emergency service call.

The installer, Jessie, did an excellent job installing the doors. He tried to accommodate an old garage door opener I was trying to keep in service. He even tried putting a new control board in the old closer which was lacking power in the down cycle. Finally, he tuned the spring to enable the closer to work. However, after several service calls, all at no expense to me, I had to bite the bullet and buy a new closer. This Jesse installed and it is working perfectly. Full marks to Overhead Door for Customer Service!

It didn't go well. One of the openers was broken straight out of the box. Which was not the installer's problem. He said he would be back the next day, at the same time, with a new one and he would install it. After he left, we went out to inspect the completed work, and to our dismay, our man-door would not open all the way because the new door track/rail was blocking it. (keep in mind there was no issue with the old garage door). When the installer did not show up at the time he said he would be back on day 2, I called the office. The secretary, who was nice, transfered me to the rude gentlemen mentioned in some of the other reviews, he told me, in so many words, that the man-door issue was basically going to have to be fixed, BUT I would pay for the extra man-hours!! Uh, no, I'm not the one who wasn't either (A): paying attention or (B): screwed up the measuring during the estimate. Then he hung up on me! Rude, unprofessional

The woman who answered the phone was professional, helpful, and pleasant. When she transferred me to the salesman, however, it was a whole different story.
When the estimator answered the phone he didn't identify himself -- he just said "hullo" in a semi-hostile voice, as if I were bothering him, taking him away from something much more important. I pleasantly identified myself and asked for his name. He paused, as if irritated, and stated his name in an angry, arrogant tone -- as if to say, Who the h***'s asking?
I paused a moment, and then hung up. I will not be doing business with a company that hires cocky, arrogant good ole boys who are disrespectful to customers. Good grief! I'm in business, too. If I treated my customers that way, my tax returns would say $0 in the income category!
I called the company back and reported his behavior to the receptionist. She caught her breath and sincerely apologized. One gets the impression this is not the first time she has heard such complaints.

The company returned our call and sent a serviceman out the same day we called. He fixed the garage door so we were able to use it until the part came in, he returned and fixed the door. The serviceman was very professional and checked all our garage doors.
The charge was very reasonable considering the distance they traveled to provide the service and it took two trips to see what the problem was then order the part and return and fix the problem.
