Excellent and professional in business and design

BAD BAD AND WORSE. Not only was I over charged by 40,000 they left my yard in a total mess. Rocks dug into ground no grass, I felt this would be professiona but completely disappointed. I gave her amount I had to work with but exceed that amount refusing to return my money that was paid for double charges. She refused to talk to me but assured me she would repair my lawn. It's the 4th fall after the project complete, not. Once again screwed!! I will have to pay another company to clean Hillcrest mess up!! Disappointment. Makes me sick paid 280,000. Seriously?

I would absolutely use Hillcrest again.  They were definitely expensive, but worth it.  We had a very large wooden retaining wall that was failing and had a very difficult time finding a contractor to replace it.  Hillcrest came and assessed it and worked with us on a plan to replace it.  The only responsiveness issue was getting the quote, which took longer than we expected, but after that they were on top of everything.  The crew that did the wall was AMAZING.  They worked extremely hard all day and were very communicative about issues that came up along the way.  Overall--worth the price.

The wall looks great. As I followed the daily progress, it seems to have been properly and well constructed. They remulched the area which looks real nice. Very impressed with the cleanup after the job was completed. I've had past jobs completed where the cleanup afterwards was lacking. I would highly recommend to others and use again myself.

We have loved every single thing Christy and her crew have completed. You get what you pay for and Hillcrest delivers first class service. They are efficient, professional and CLEAN. When they show up they are ready to work! They complete the job in a timely manner and are meticulous in their clean up. I would highly recommend Hillcrest.

Showed up while I was on vacation to complete job. Did not complete work as discussed. I really think she forgot what we talked about. Soon as I returned home, started calling me for payment.

Installation went well, the work was completed in two days and turned out well.
The only complaint I have is that they did not honor their 1 year guarantee on plants. Their advertising claims they have an and quot;Excellent Guaranteeand quot;. I had a few plants that died and needed replaced. After three phone calls I could not get a straight answer on when the plants would be replaced. During my last call, the secretary said she would notify the owner, Kristy Scarberry about the dead plants. It's been over two weeks since then and I've heard noting from the company.

Their service was good but we liked to have paid less for it. They were punctual. We called 4 different companies and they were the only ones that actually showed up. So they were responsive and professional. All the people that worked for them were knowledgeable and actually professional. We will use them again in the future if we need to.

Everything went great, especially since the weather cooperated. The three distinct areas were worked on one by one, keeping with the layout Kristy provided during our discussion/review of the landscaping plan. The crew arrived ready to work each day and there were plenty of people available to complete the work in a timely manner. A wonderful experience to have individuals show up ready to work and everyone clearly enjoyed working. I spoke with the workers throughout the day and everyone had a great attitude and was very professional. The finished product fits the style of my house perfectly and I can't wait until the spring to see the trees bud, and the spirea, flowering grasses, rosh bushes and day lillies begin to grow. I highly recommend Landscaping by Hillcrest. I plan on having another estimate completed for the area at the end of my driveway. I also plan to have them come back yearly to refresh and refurbish the three areas with mulch and trim/update plants as needed.

The biggest thing about Landscaping by Hillcrest is that Christy, the owner, is an artist. She can create a design that is far more artistic than anyone else here in Huntington. Christy and her staff know their stuff. They come in, do the work, clean up, and leave. The price is expensive but the quality of work you get is commensurate with the cost. In my opinion you get a product you just cannot get anywhere else. The finished project was lovely and beautiful. People drive by and think the work is gorgeous.
