Mr. Miller was very good at explaining the process to me.  On his initial visit, he told me what would need to happen.  He informed me my current venting was not double walled and up to code.  I was appreciative as another furnace guy had just installed that two years previously.  It was important to me that the work be done correctly. There were several days of work involved.  The guys were prompt and courteous.  There were some obstacles with the house itself and where the furnace needed to be positioned.  They did what needed to be and figured out the logistics.  After the install they couldn't get the furnace to fire up.  They came back first thing the next morning and figured out the issue.  The wiring diagram that came with the furnace was different that the actual piece.  They fixed it according to the diagram and it fired right up.  It was a great experience all the way around.  As a single woman, this was one of those projects I was dreading. I really appreciated there willingness to walk through the process and make sure it was done correctly.

We were supposed to get metal duct work and they put in some kind of flexible stuff. Since we have some cats in the basement I asked if that would hold up was told Yes. well most of it was down and had holes in it the first wk. They did come and repair it. but never offered to put in metal duct works. 1 month later the heat pump quit working. they repaired that. the duct work is still a issue because the cats climb on it , i just keep patching it. The heat pump has quit working several times since then and the last time I called a different outfit to come and fix it the other outfit only charged me half the price that Millers had charged me to repair it. I had them look at the furance because it is rusting out. found out that it was not installed right and that it was not draining properly. It is going to cost several thousand dollars to repair it and get metal duct work put in. Millers also did not cuts the holes in the floor right the registers wont stay in place. You can tell that they used a very poor grad of metal. very thin. that is one of the reasons that I think everything has rusted. We dont even use it in the winter, we use electric heaters to keep the house warm, because we can not afford to get it fixed. Everything was very poor quailty. I just wanted everybody to know that I feel as though we were cheated. Also his workers were very rude to me. I do know for a fact that we were supposed to get metal duct work because I know one of his employers. Anyway I wouldnt recommend this outfit .

He advised us that the unit the contractor had installed when we built the house was half the size it should be and didn't push us to purchase a new unit from there company. He was very prompt and very friendly. I won't use anyone else as long as they are in business.

I knew my old furnace was on its last legs, so I called around for estimates. Mr. Miller came to my house and gave me several options of replacements and additional features to choose from. I have had service repairs done by Miller's previously, and know this is a company you can depend on for quick response, honest estimates, and quality work. I would recommend them to anyone!
