Tireland Inc

I have used Tireland since 1988. They have always given me excellent service and excellent prices. The place is deceiving in that the shop doesn't really look like much, but like a lot of things in life, don't judge a book by it's cover. Over the years they have helped me out in several ways:

• * When I was a broke college student I had a water pump fail. They were willing to help me find a used parts dealer (read, Junkyard) that provided reliable parts at cheap prices.
• * When I had a decent car and had tried several different tires from Tirerack.com, I finally asked the garage foreman for his advice. He recommended the best tires I ever had on that car, saved me a ton of money, and they were a brand that I hadn't ever used before.
• * When I had a GM vehicle that had an intermittent brake issue I took it to 3 GM dealerships to find out what the problem was. Not one of them could find the reason for the problem. I had the car into Tireland for an oil change, and the technician asked me what was up with my brakes. I told him to find out, they found it and fixed it.
• * They have always been nothing by great to me, including dropping me off at my house when I had to drop my vehicle off and couldn't find a ride back to my place.
• The last bit of work was on my Forrester. It had reached 200K and had a minor oil leak from the head gasket. They did a great job, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

I recommend Tireland very highly, and have taken my families vehicles there multiple times, too.

Drove in, 30 minutes later drove out.

Gave me an appointment. Only had a minimal wait. I had asked about a more expensive tire, but he assured me that for what I was using my SUV for, I did not need those tires recommended by a friend. At my request one of his staff turned by 4Runner around so it was facing the exit of the parking lot.
