Excellent: We were in the buying stage of purchasing this home while living 600 miles away. It was discovered that the home did not meet code and was considered a health hazard to my mother with emphysema. This contractor was not the first Lennox Authorized company called. MountainAire realized that time was of the essence and took time from their busy schedule to accommodate our needs. They were professional and punctual as promised and made no demands of us due to our being 600 miles away. Other issues arose with the HVAC system after they installed the system where our system had a malfunction of an older part on our furnace, that our optional warranty provider of Choice Home Warranty was denying coverage for repairs. Mr. Rhodes stepped up to the bat and helped document that MountainAire could document that the was properly working for a full month after the purchase of the home to help get Choice Home Warranty to pay for the repair. I will note I am still trying to get Choice Home Warranty to effect the repair. I will state that MountainAire LLC was and is a quality company and a pleasure to work with and I wanted to show that I have contacted this company for additional work since the original request for services. Thank you Mr. Rhodes and MountainAire LLC.

The ac unit at the home of elderly relatives stopped working on a 90 degree Saturday on a Memorial Day weekend. I called every HVAC company in our area, including another company that I had previously used for my own HVAC install and that I reviewed on Angie's List three years ago. I spoke to answering services for companies that offered 24 hour emergency service, but was basically told they only considered the situation a true emergency if my relative would die without ac. While the situation was thankfully not that dire, we were looking at having to relocate two elderly people with health issues (who did not want to be relocated, I might add) until repairs could be made.
Mountain Air returned my call in less than five minutes. I explained the problem and was given clear instructions on what to do with the ac unit in the meantime and that they would add us to their schedule and make every effort to get to the job that evening. The technician, Kevin?, called me back and kept me updated on their expected arrival time. When they did arrive, they were courteous and diagnosed and took care of the problem quickly (the system needed coolant). They were also very patient and respectful with my relatives, one of whom has hearing issues and has to ask for things to be repeated.
It was less than four hours from the time I left a message to the time the AC was up and running. I have definitely found my new HVAC company. Prompt service on a holiday weekend and excellent communication, what more could you ask for?

The were prompt, friendly, and fixed the problem the first time. Provided lots of additional (free) advice to maintain my system. Very knowledgeable. Would use again for sure.

This is my first time using a boiler system and fuel oil furnace, and as such, I had many questions and concerns. I wanted a thorough inspection and training in how the system works and how to use it. The technician did a great job. He took a lot of time to instruct and educate me, making sure I understood everything he was telling me. He did what appeared to me to be a thorough inspection and gave me a tremendous amount of guidance that made a lot of sense about ongoing maintenance and things I might expect throughout an average year, along with things to consider in the future. He did not rush any part of the visit and was incredibly thorough and responsive to all my questions and concerns. I learned a tremendous amount, and went from being completely anxious about our heating system to very confident that it is safe, and that I, generally, know how to use it, at least from a basic user/lay standpoint. I am very grateful for his services and relieved to have found him from amidst the available technicians in our area.

I cannot recommend Kevin enough. This is the second time he has done work for me, and I couldn't be more pleased. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He is always on time and I really feel I can trust him. He has always provided me with additional information and has never tried to gouge me. Very nice, honest guy and company.

I had a great experience with Kevin. He fit me in his schedule to assess the problem the same day I called, called before he showed up, assessed the problem quickly and explained to me the situation, ordered a part, and installed it as soon as the part was available two days later. He worked with me to explain my system, how to improve and maintain it, and was very professional - with a great sense of humor!

Kevin and his team did a wonderful job throughout the entire process - from quote to finished product. His team was professional, responsive, and installed the highest quality product for the most reasonable price. I received about 6 estimates, and Mountain Air was the most reasonable. The system works great and we have no complaints. We plan to use Mountain Air for all of our future HVAC needs. We would recommend them to anyone.

As part of our new home construction, we chose Mountain Air for our HVAC install. They performed the complete system install from rough-in to trim out. They met with us on-site to go through the house and explained what would be done, how it would be done, why it would be done, offered their suggestions, answered any questions we had and provided timely estimates. They started and completed the rough-in on time so the schedule wasn't compromised. They installed a high efficiency heat pump system with a variable valve gas furnace backup two zoned system with whole house humidifier and air purification system with two thermostats (one for each zone), as well as radiant floor heat in our basement. The system has worked flawlessly for a year and keeps us comfortable in all seasons. They came back shortly after we moved in to go over and explain the entire system to me and answer any questions about the operation of it. They also had no problem explaining the maintenance to me and didn't try to sucker me into calling them back each season for high maintenance costs. They also offered to come back and correct any issues. One bedroom wasn't receiving enough warm air in the winter and was too cool. They replaced the line to that bedroom with a bigger supply and larger vent and moved a thermostat for me to another location at no cost. These guys are very professional and easy to get along with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone or use them again myself in the future.
