I have nothing but good things to say about these folks. I have been using their services for about five years now. I have never been displeased once. The owner and his wife are both incredibly knowledgeable. She provides excellent telephone service and he does a great job on repair work. This time all I needed was a new washer drain hose. Their fees are reasonable. They are generally prompt and willing to work me into their busy schedule and to work around mine too, when possible. I've lost track of how many times I've used their services in the past five year, maybe 3-5, but they've always done great work at a fair price.

The part owner was late but he called to let me know he was running late. He was honest by advising me anything he did (replace freon) would be a temporary fix- lasting days to months. We did not fix. Would use again.

very courteous and helpful on the phone. Despite being busy, arranged to come out the next day to look at my problem. Gave me a one hour time frame of when they would be there and were on time. Had asked for the manufacturer and model number so they had the right parts and had it fixed and running in under one hour. Very nice and helpful, even provided tips on how to make the dryer more efficient and help it work better.

I called Miller's Appliance and explained to him that I had a Maytag washer that would agitate but not spin. I had already gone on Youtube and watched a video about how to evaluate a washer that would not spin, and couldn't figure out a fix. I had checked to make sure no clothes were stuck, and checked the belt underneath the washer to make sure it was not broken and was rotating on the pulleys, which it was. I then called Miller's Appliance and explained this to Lee Miller. He was very receptive to my effort and said that I had already done some of the work for him. He made an appointment for me 3 days later which was very reasonable. Upon working on the washer for about 30-45 minutes, he said that the transmission was not working. He explained that the washer should agitate, and then when it goes to spin, the tub should lock up and spin in one direction. My washer could be hand spun both ways which shouldn't happen. It would not lock up to perform the high speed spinning to wring clothes out. He said that for a new transmission and parts I was looking at about $200-$300 in cost, but he recommended that I may want to just buy a new washer. We took his advice and purchased a new model. He seemed honest, friendly and hardworking; I would call him again for future appliances.

I called Miller's on a Monday morning, and they were able to fit me in on the same day. The repairman showed up when he said he would and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was clearly very experienced in appliance repair, and I would not hesitate to hire him again. His wife (they run the business together) was nice and helpful on the phone to get the appointment set up.

Mr. Miller was punctional and made a immediate diagonsis of the problem. He replaced the part and tested the oven. He was very nice and we chit chatted about home repairs, baking, etc while he worked.

I called Miller's on a Friday at lunch time, fully thinking I'd be scheduling a service call for the following week. The gal on the line took my name and the model number of the stove (she even knew where to tell me to find it) and said she'd get back to me. After about an hour or so, I called back to give her my cell number since I had to step out to run errands. While on the line, she passed the phone to a repairman who asked a couple other questions and said he'd be over in 30 minutes. Sure enough, he was. He got right to work and had the part replaced quickly. By 2:30 pm the oven was fixed and repairman gone.

Our model is uncommon, which seemed to delay proceedings as far as parts acquisition. This is no fault of the service company, but could perhaps have been better anticipated. The repair person confirmed the bad fan and ordered the part. When we asked about removing food items from the fridge during work(the freezer was already empty)we were told that this was unnecessary. During the repair, however, the fridge compartment door had to be removed, and a mechanical area opened that left fiberglass insulation exposed. It would have been better to have us remove the food to begin with. Perhaps our fault for not anticipating? Still, communication could have been better. Virtually all fridge contents were packaged, so there was no great fear of contamination, but this may not have been the case. We were very lucky in that the repair person was able to restart the old fan. It sounded rough, but it worked. We were appropriately warned that it might not last, but it continued to function until it was replaced. There was a delay of about a week for the new fan to ship. Once it arrived, the repair person returned to install it. The fridge has since worked normally, but was left somewhat dirty from the repair job, and at least one piece of trim was left off during reassembly, leaving the mechanical area partially open. We plan to finish reassembly ourselves. A comment was made about the fridge being difficult to work on, but we feel that this was no excuse for unprofessional work in clean-up and reassembly. Yes, we might well use this firm in the future, but would do so in the knowledge that we might have to be more vigilant about follow through in getting everything back together at the end of the job. We'd also be more insistent about clean-up. And we'd remove the contents to avoid any misunderstandings, and make it easier to move or work on the fridge.
