Pete is fantastic! He saved me so much time and money. I had mice getting in my home that turned our lives upside down. He came to my home and took two hours to inspect my home and tell me exactly what needed to be done and referred me to great people on the jobs he couldn’t do himself. He is laying dry wall for me. Price is very fair and his work is great! Also, he called me immediately... no waiting. I highly recommend! Honest work!

Pete has helped me with some handywork before and he has always been excellent so, I wanted him to install vinyl flooring for our basement room and bath. He did very nice job at a reasonable price and the outcome is gorgeous. I highly recomend him.

Pete is great! He did a thorough review of our house when we moved in. He has completed several jobs for us or recommended another company (which have all been great) when necessary. He has always been on time, very professional, even gave me tips on general maintenance that I could do to save money in the long run.

Came promptly as planned. Price was $100 a little high I thought. Have been told not to pay more than $50 for cleaning gutters on this very small house. But he did a thorough job of removing debris and clearing gutters and didn't leave a mess behind. He installed curtain rod quickly. He didn't have the right tool to remove the stubborn lock, though he tried. He volunteered to return for free to replace the hinge he ruined trying to remove the old lock and to finish that job. Was very professional and skillful. He wanted to complete the job "before the rain..." and he did.

The work has been fantastic throughout. Pete has been responsive, diligent, and affordable, and he gets work done when he says he can. He prioritizes, letting you know when he can do work and when he can't, being available in true emergencies or triaging if he can't help right away. I've not had a complaint from a tenant about him. We could not have been absentee landlords for this long without Pete's help, services, quality, and goodwill. It is a testament to his ability to serve clients that we've never actually met in person. I make a request, he gives an estimate, he does the work within the estimate (unless there are surprises), and I pay him. I only wish I could find someone of his caliber near where I live.

I am reluctant to post this review, because that will be less time for Pete to help us with our home improvements! Pete has done work on a half dozen occasions or so, assisting with everything from storm door and light fixture replacements to plumbing issues involving some exterior faucets. In addition to his professionalism and the excellent results, he always has your best interest in mind: on at least a couple of occasions, I texted him with a problem, and he offered some low-cost alternatives that addressed my concerns and saved us money at the same time. His prices and scheduling are also top-notch.

Pete lived up to his reputation as a do-it-all handyman who is both knowledgeable and does great work. I contacted him in the Fall for some work that included fixing a couple of plaster walls that had water damage and repairing a swinging external gate that had come loose from its support. Because he is in such high demand, we didn't get together until February, but once I was on the schedule, Pete was easy to communicate with and very thorough and professional in getting the jobs done over the course of a couple of nights. The cost was very fair and is probably better than what you'd find elsewhere (if you could even find someone to come out and do the smaller-scale jobs). He also takes time to explain the repairs and is happy to offer answers/suggestions to other home improvement questions you might have. There is a reason he doesn't even advertise and yet is still booked so far out. I recommend without reservation and we will be using him again as soon as his schedule permits!

Very professional, personable, also offered a couple of " teaching moments" as he likes his clients to be informed and knowledgeable. As he was leaving he noticed and brought to my attention an issue with the conduit leading to my electrical box...........Who knows when I would have noticed that .As a result I was able to have that issue resolved.

Pete is not only an excellent handyman, he really cares about helping you! I was high and dry without a sink, (as my contractor left on a Wednesday and told me he wouldn't be back until Monday) I had been tore up for what seemed like an eternity, and the thought of going that long without my kitchen sink really bothered me. So, I called HandyWorks Repair Service. He came after hours to help us out that very evening. I thought that was very kind and compassionate of him. He did a great job too! I'd recommend him for any handyman type work you are needing done. I plan to use him again soon for some misc jobs needing done once his schedule frees up. Thanks Pete!

Pete did an excellent job throughout. He was courteous, polite, efficient, smart, and very fast on the job. His estimate was right on and I felt that his work was worth every penny of what he charged. I would refer him to others and have already asked him if he would be interested in doing other work for me.

Pete is great and absolutely the best handyman we have encountered. He always gives us options and explains the best path to take in repairs or replacement regarding home maintenance. He is still doing jobs for us, the following has been completed:
Installed new garbage disposal - gave estimate and best option for our size home/family and cost effectiveness.
Emergency call for toilet kit installation with education for proper cleaning/maintenance.
Replaced/made new door for crawl space under the house. He reviewed and shopped for best prices and options, doing a special cut in size of door, and weather treatment.
Always on time for a job, comes when he say he will, let's you know the progress in his findings if shopping for specific supplies.
Pete has several more jobs we have planned; we are so thankful and very satisfied that we found him via Angie's List.
