furniture sales
+ -1 moreThis situation is not resolved. The manager was very rude to my husband. I am taking it to the state attorney generals office.
Description of Work: My husband and I stopped into this furniture store looking for a pair of recliners. We did not want a special order or special fabric, just a model off the floor. His chair was available. Mine was sold. I was told that it was a regular item, always stocked and should be in the next week or so. I gave them a deposit of $220 and arranged financing for the balance. I waited and waited. In the intervening weeks, I changed my mind about the purchase. I called them about seven weeks later to ask for my deposit back. I was refused. I asked if I could use the deposit for another purchase as I had changed my mind about the chairs and was told that I could, but that I MUST PURCHASE $1750 worth of merchandise!! This is insane. Can these people tell me how much money I have to spend in their store??
