This was the absolute BEST experience I've ever had with a contractor. It's been almost a year since our major remodel project was completed and we have not had one single call back to fix any issues. We were impressed with the quality of detail, promptness, and workmanship exhibited by John and his team. He even cleaned up his work area and removed any clutter EVERY DAY before he left for the day. How many contractors do that? None! I would, without hesitation, call Ayersman Renovations if we ever desired to take on another project.

The projected couldn't have gone more perfectly. Ayersman began work on July 5 exactly when they said they would. The work was completed on Friday, July 29, also when they anticipated that the work would be done. During the renovation process, the work area was cleaned of all work-related debris at the end of each workday resulting in the remainder of the house being kept relatively free of dirt and dust. The quality of the workmanship was exceptional and the Ayersman's were a dream to work with....so much so that my husband and I are looking around for other projects that we want them to do. In a day when much renovation work is hastily and carelessly done, Ayersman Renovations is a jewel and stand-out. A kitchen reno. is no small project for a family to undertake. We found the Ayersmans to be reasonable as well as excellent and honest. Couldn't be happier with the result and recommend their work without reservation.

We love Beth and John.  They are absolutely wonderful.  Honest, trustworthy, careful, meticulous and above all else, very good at what they do.  Not one single complaint and nothing but praise.  These two were a dream come true after so many botched contractors that worked on our home built 100 years ago.  Their prices are very fair and honest and very reasonable.  You might find a contractor cheaper, but you will probably regret that choice.  You just don't have to worry with Beth and John that they are not going to come through for you and will do a wonderful professional job.  I can't speak more highly of the two.  They are more like family than contractors.  Anything we could think of for them to fix, we asked them for help because we knew they would get it right the first time and it would be done correctly and professionally.

Ayersman Renovations will always be my first choice in contractors for any future renovations I may do in my home! They are truly great craftsmen as well as conducting themselves in a very professional and approachable manner. They were such a lucky find!

John and Beth were a joy to work with and we are looking
forward to having them back to do additional work on our home.

Backstory: For this project, we needed work done on our
kitchen due to a poorly covered up window (thanks to the previous owners) that
had leaked for several years, leading to rot of the interior wall to the point
that you could see the hardiplank siding once the plaster was pulled
down. We have only been in the house three years and the budget for
this required repair was not huge.

Work Process: John and Beth were very cooperative in working
within our budget. Our cabinets were fairly new and still in good
condition, so we wanted to keep those. They were not pushy about trying
to sell us new cabinets (a big turn-off when dealing with all of the other
companies that we had come in to give us estimates on the work).

This was the first time dealing with a contractor for us and
they were very good about “holding our hands” through the process, keeping us
updated, giving us advised options, making on the fly decisions that were spot
on, letting us change our minds about stuff, and everything else positive you
can think of.

Work Completed: Two walls ripped down to the studs. One wall studs and outside hardiplank pulled out and repaired/replaced on exterior. Cabinets taken out, salvaged, rehung in raised position. New drywall hung. Room/ceiling painted. Electrical work. Fixtures replaced. Appliances replaced. New counter installed. New sink, facuet, disposer installed. Additional vent added to kitchen.

Time to complete: Less than 8 days.

Additional Comments: We loved the little things that they
did of their own accord, like caulking gaps between the baseboard and wall and
repainting so it looked better and offering to put bumper pads on our cabinet
doors and drawers so they didn’t slam shut. They also gave us a nice
gift, which we are thrilled about – under-cabinet lighting in a corner that
they thought was a bit too dark!

They kept everything very clean. They kept us updated
daily on their progress. They apparently entertained our son with peek-a-poo
during the day. (Disclaimer: They may or may not play peek-a-boo while working
on other projects.)

Summary: Detail-oriented and take pride in their work.
Priced right. Hard workers. Experienced and knowledgeable.

It went very smoothly and they kept us up to date daily from the first day we met them and received our estimate. They let us be involved in the process and made us feel comfortable with what they were doing. When it was finished they even added some personal touches, such as candles around bathtub and an orchid plant on window sill. I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know and even strangers on the street. :)

John and Beth Ayersman remodeled our second floor bathroom. This was our first big remodel ever. I cannot tell you how thrilled we are with the outcome. At the end of the final walkthrough, they asked me if I was pleased. I told them, and quot;On a scale of one to ten, this job is a 30. It far and away exceeds my expectations.and quot;
John and Beth came out and did a very thorough exam of our project. They asked us what we wanted and they made lots of great suggestions. Soon after, we were provided with an estimate. We thought it a tad high but then when we looked at the extensive list of things they were going to do, it seemed reasonable. I did realize later that the figure was mostly for LABOR. We still had to buy all the MATERIAL because John and Beth have their clients purchase most of the fixtures. This is actually a good thing. You get exactly what you want with NO contractor mark up.
Every single day John and Beth showed up when they said they would. They protected all surfaces and areas with dropcloths and plastic. At the end of the day, they cleaned up and put anything away that they had moved. They were so courteous, pleasant, and professional! In addition, they were very, very kind to our 15 year old deaf dog.
Being a first time remodeler, I was a little, make that a lot, nervous and skittish. I really appreciated John and Beth's patience with me and their wise counsel. I'm so thankful for the time Beth saved me from making a poor design decision. She said, and quot;I don't think you'll like this particular tile in the long run. Meet me at the tile place and we can discuss design alternatives.and quot;
Let me also say that John is a brilliant craftsman. The son of a homebuilder, John is also a plumber AND an electrician. In addition, he worked for a cabinet maker for years. His workmanship and problem-solving skills are extraordinary. Beth is a delight with her people and design skills. She and John make such a great team.
The one thing I would advise, and maybe you already know this, have ALL your materials present and accounted for BEFORE your contractor shows up for the first day of work. If I had done this, it would have saved me, my husband, John, and Beth A LOT of stress!

This bathroom was a wreck. Very old house. Searched for over a year for an honest and reputable company to remodel bathroom. Contacted John and Beth in July for estimate. After speaking with them about what we wanted, I was certain they were the team for the job. They were a great help in making decisions about the remodel. Always returned calls, on time and do quality work. The remodel was completed as promised. I was very happy with the professionalism of John and Beth and they way they had a hold on the clean up. I love my new bathroom and would recommend Ayersman to all.

John and Beth Ayersman are a husband and wife team who are trustworthy, professional, careful, and pay attention to detail. The pricing is far and the result is excellent. They carefully schedule their jobs, and block the time frame to devote to your job. You do not have to share their time with other job sites. My old fireplace was turned into a stone beauty. Beth did some wall and hearth painting (best that I've ever seen), John did the framework and applied the stone. He crafted a custom wrap around mantle that added the perfect touch. I also had some outside work done, and a storm door installed. They are very honest, and skilled professionals. If you hire them, you will not be disappointed! Excellent contractors.

John and Beth Ayersman are an extraordinary Team and exceptional people. We completely trust them and they have performed work for us for the past couple of years and our only regret is that we did not find them sooner. They are completely professional, detail-oriented, careful, clean, intelligent, kind, honest, thoughtful and extremely skilled. We could not recommend them any higher and we recommend them to everyone we know. They installed a beautiful new bathroom for us that everyone in the neighborhood marvel at. They have remodeled our closets, ceilings, walls, front porch and floors. They have installed new doors and windows in our home. They remodeled our front porch and people will stop and get out of their cars and ask who did this incredible work. They are licensed plumbers as well. Above all else, their pricing is completely fair and honest and reasonable. They are not only worth every penny they charge but are worth much more than that. They have also performed work for our neighbors and everyone has been completely satisfied with them. Again, we cannot recommend them any higher. They are the best contractors we have every worked with!

Attention to detail and doing the work right the first time is all I can say. They are exceptional in their trade, and would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future. Price was reasonable as well.

He did a good job but I was not sure that he knew how to install this exact brand of storm door. He was very thorough but it seemed to take a little longer than I expected; he kept going back to the instructions for door installation but his work was good. I will use him again in the future.

John and Beth Ayersman are easy to work with, accommodating the needs of my father. They worked quickly and completely cleaned when done.

I will definitely be hiring him again to do more work for me - a renovation on my unfinished basement. John and his wife work together and are very clean and efficient. They're very time conscious as well.
