He did put in tile, but never sealed it.  He started October 2011 and said it would be two weeks.  He had several different assistants, took off for weeks at a time and on Feb. 2nd looked me straight in the eye told me it would be finished by the end of the next week and I have never seen him again.  He told me he had purchased items such as doors, but did not bring them to the work site due to "lack of space".  He borrowed some of our tools for use on other sites, which I never got back.  His plumbing was not done correctly, and now seems to have been removing copper pipes and replacing with plastic.  He did build a wall around the parameter of the basement and did about 1/3 of the center wall.  However, the center wall is now bowing.  While he knew in theory what I needed, I don't think he knew how to accomplish it.   My fault for buying a "good talk"  and not getting license, insurance etc.  Also fell for the sob stories and paid more up front than I should have.  Just wanted to warn others.  I have had to pay again to get the 1/2 bath finished and am trying to find someone to do the support work with the little money I have left.
