Jones Deck & Fence

We left messages with this company for three days and they were never returned. Terrible customer service. Decided to call another company.

I contacted this company, however they did not respond. So I went with an other company that did a great job

Initially, fantastic conversation and very professional. He listened well, seemed to understand what we were looking for and we were told he’d get back with an estimate and options in a week or so. Here I am about six months later and haven’t heard back despite FIVE calls made with polite messages for a call back for a status. I even said on my message- “if you’re too busy and can’t take the job, that’s ok, just please call and let me know.” Including the initial call for the consultation, I’ve called six times and begged for a response but to no avail. Unfortunate- the work they do is highly recommended, but I couldn’t get so much as an acknowledgement let alone the work started. I was completely avoided but can’t get any one to talk to me to explain why. Felt like the consultation was professional, but not sure what I said or did to Warrant being ignored for a substantial job that I THOUGHT was going to be a pretty strong payday for them. Really disappointed.

Better than I could have imagined. Keith was the best to work with and his guys really worked hard. I was surprised how quick everything came together. Definitely give them a call if you need a deck or fence.

My husband and I wanted to take out paver steps and replace with a deck. Keith did a wonderful job advising what would look best to blend the new deck with the existing patio. Very professional and kept us informed in the whole process.

The owner explained that the guy DID NOT WORK for his company, so therefore I exonerate Jones Fence and Deck for the treatment and work we received.

Scope of work was executed down to a T! Professional, timely, courteous and great price! Will definately refer friends to this company and the owner is a terrific guy! He takes great pride in his work and it shows in my beautiful deck!!

Once we were able to connect- the work was great.  The owner was very professional, and the workers were on time and did exactly what they promised.

There are a lot of contractors, handymen, saying they can talk the talk. Keith Jones from Jones Deck and Fence, can walk the walk with his work. I am glad we found jones deck and fence. If you need a job done, and a job done right , i would recommend you having it done by keith jones

We cannot recommend Keith enough! First, the cost he quoted to tear down our old 3' x 3' "deck" and build us a new 6'x9' deck was so fair that we had to ask several times if it actually included all materials and costs! We had previously gotten quotes which were double his price. We later found out that he pretty much works alone so we assume that is why he can be so competitive with his estimates.
First, when he came to give the estimate he provided several options to how we could simply repair our old deck as well as provided an estimate to build the new one. What was great is that he gave us a repair option that we could do ourselves without even needing to use his services. So he wasn't trying to just sell us or talk us into using his services. I am still blown away by the cost! (In a good way).  When we decided we wanted to use his services, he sent another person out to handle the paperwork and she was extremely professional, even providing us with schematics and a sketch that we would need for out HOA Approval.  They also handled getting all the proper permits and handling the inspections.
It took Keith two days to finish our deck, and then, only because he was working alone.  While here he worked consistently and diligently, and even though he wasn't going to finish the deck in one day, he made sure to at least finish the steps so we could have access to our back yard and our garage. When he was ready to leave for the day, we noticed the steps were much wider than we had thought they would be. He explained that his standard width is 4 foot, but admitted he had not explained it to us, so he willingly shortened them for us when he came back on Monday.
The overall quality of the deck is AMAZING. It is well-built, sturdy,neat, and attractive. We couldn't be happier with the way it is built and feel confident in its safety for our daughter. WE will definitely use Jones Deck and Fence again for any future needs.

There response time to my first phone call and for the estimate was very quick.  The fence needed to be ordered so it was a couple of weeks before actual installation. They called promptly when the fence came in and installed it shortly thereafter.  I had a couple of concerns once the fence was installed and they very quickly resolved those on the same day. I am very please with the service and installation. The only reason I gave a B for price was not because this company was anymore expensive than the others, but because I think the vinyl fence in general is high in price (which we had to have because of our HOA).I am a very happy customer and I would definitely recommend them.

If the job is small he doesn't want to do it.  Says he will come out to give an estimate and never shows up.  Wasted two weekends waiting for him.  Will not call him again or recommend him to anyone.  Arrogant.

It took a week to get all the new fencing, another company that buys from the same supplier said that it would be 4 to 5 weeks just to get the fencing, and came out the next day and removed all the wooden fencing and cut off all the posts and pre-staged all the new fencing. The next day at 7:00 am they arrived and went right to work installing the new fence, which was completed by 5:30 pm. The new fence was a total of 150 feet with a 4 foot gate and they even raked all the landscape rock back to the fence.

Called Jones as we desperately needed a fence. We received a call promptly back. He apologized that he was extremely busy and would be unable to install our fence for several months but referred us to someone else. His recommendation was spot on and we were so happy with the work. We will be calling early in the spring for them to do our deck!

Prompt, efficient and helpful with design, negotiating permits, and construction. Our fence was up within 3 weeks of contacting Jones Fence, and completed within 48h of beginning construction.

Keith Jones personally gave us sevral estimates and helped us design a fence and deck that would fit our budget and taste. We went with wood because I like the feel of the sturdiness and the idea of being able to paint/ stain in different style. The fence went up in 2 days! and the deck was not much longer. He got all the county inspections and the deck has been great. I always recommend Jones Deck and Fence when people ask about our deck.

After first contacting Jones Deck and Fence, Keith was quick to set up a time to come out and provide an estimate to install a 5' lattice top vinyl fence around my backyard.

The entire estimate process only took about 30 minutes, in which we discussed what was required by the HOA, the time constraints I was under to get the project done, and Keith took all the required measurements and promised to call the next day with an estimate.

By the next afternoon, Keith had called to provide both an estimate for the work, including all permits, and a time line for both receiving the fencing and getting it installed. When I gave him the go ahead, the fencing was ordered and arrived within a week, and Keith worked with me to get all the required permits filed with the city of Ranson and Jefferson county. He was even flexible, when I contacted him about delaying the install until I could get a shed put inside the fence line.

Once the fencing arrived, the fence was completed in one day, two days less than originally quoted, and the work was done quickly, cleanly, and well.

I've had the fence for one month now and have had no problems with it or the installed gate. I highly recommend Jones Deck and Fence, and will be using them again in the spring for a deck.

Mr. Jones initially came to our home to measure and chat about what type of fence we wanted/needed. He showed us many different pictures of work he had done in the past and gave us information regarding wood type and the construction basics of the fences we liked including pros/cons.

Our appointment to start was moved up 1 week. The foreman and employee were very professional, polite and FAST. Our fence went up and was completed that day. Mr. Jones was there for approx. 1 hour that morning to go over specifics with myself and the foreman. He answered every question I had before the fence went up. Last minute decisions were made without a problem.

The end result is BEAUTIFUL, PROFESSIONALLY MADE and we could not be happier with the service we were provided. THANK YOU JONES DECK and FENCE!!!!!
