About us
A a general contractor servicing the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, we use a combination of our own staff people and sub-contractors who have worked with our company for many years. We have a mentor service for those that wish to DIY and you can read about it on our web site. We have a full cad design service for the largest to the smallest projects. See what you are going to get before you jump in. We do design and build, there is no charge for our design work if we get the project, otherwise we do charge an hourly rate for these services. We never had a first meeting fee to review what you would like to do, but these days with fuel prices the way they are we have had to start charging for first visit inspections and reviews. The fee is $25.00 and paid at the time of the visit.

This company cannot manage to timeline, budget, or customer desires. No consultations were made when decisions needed to be made, such as a threshold on the garage doors so that Rain doesn't pour into the garage most have a 1 inch lip at the threshold so the water doesn't flow under the doors. The concrete guys suggested to this builder and well he didn't ask the home owners and just didn't put it in so we get a nice puddle inside the garage when it rains.
This company is deceitful and will lie about almost every aspect of your job. RUN AWAY from We Help You Build LLC.
"This client was on a cost plus contract. No fixed price was determined ahead of time, because it was not possible to figure out what the total would be. These are nice people who had done anything like this before to my knowledge. Our company gave them prices of what things were going to cost by others and were told ahead of time. They were over their heads before they called us. We suggested a cost plus as there were too many unknowns. We never got to the concrete floor they refer to as we pulled off the job before it was done. I allowed my subs to go back to the job without us to finish what the home owner wanted. They never had a number from our company ahead of time. The were given an invoice each week for our part and they knew what was going on from one week to the other. They never called a meeting to discuss issues we ran into. Some of the things that had to be done, there was not choice in the matter by anyone. These items had to be done for building codes. Our company did do all the really tough parts as they requested. I have over three hundred photos showing the progress each day we were there to back up every thing we did. They paid according to terms. They wanted to do most of the work themselves. What they couldn't do is what our company did. Money is always an issue on any job. They had talked to other contractors who gave them prices that ranged from $95,000 to $125,000. Our company was never hired to complete the project. Only do as the client suggests in her comments. If they got the project completed for $67,000 as she stats then they still did well. I wish them well."
