ROACH ENERGY

I totally understand that ROACH ENERGY is a business and as such their front line customers come first. But I believe a solution that is quite easy to implement would be great PR for them as ROACH ENERGY has on many occasions given funds to local Churches, Homeless shelters and other places that help out the poor and needy. Roach Energy could and should dedicate a delivery truck at least 3 days a week to folks who are without heat or nearly out of oil and are in an emergency situation. As a Community business ROACH ENERGY has an obligation to help folks in this community who have fallen on hard times though no fault of their own. Remember all of us are only a payday away from the same thing. Until you are sitting in your home wrapped in blankets with a portable heater at your feet you can't understand the feeling of the approaching cold spell or huge snow storm. I give credit to ROACH ENERGY for finally delivery the heating oil but as I have said there is a much better way for ROACH ENERGY and for that matter all the ENERGY COMPANIES could work together to implement a dedicated truck to address the emergency's in the area.

We had our then HVAC company come and perform a preventative maintenance on our oil furnace, a few days later the furnace would not come on. I contacted our HVAC company and informed them that our furnace would not come on and so we had no heat. They would not come that day but could come the next day in which we had to work but were available the rest of the week, Thanksgiving week. I called numerous times over the next five days (including Thanksgiving day) but they would not send anybody to fix our furnace. On Monday, Dec 1st I contacted Roach Oil and explained our problem, they sent a technician to our house within a few hours, he assessed the problem and found the electrodes where not set properly and once adjusted we had our heat back on, he was able to have us up and running in about 20 minutes. He also advised us that the primary controller for the furnace was going bad and should be replaced which he did. Needless to say I cancelled my existing maintenance contract with the other HVAC company. I will be getting a maintenance contract with Roach Oil.

They are wonderful! We have dealt with them for several years. They are reliable and dependable. They are there for you. They make emergency calls. We used to have oil heat. We are very happy with them.

Everything has gone smoothly. I believe they have come twice. We rent a 100 gallon tank. I call them when I need more and they come and fill it up. It's pretty easy. Their prices are average. No complaints.

They have been very responsive in helping to clarify any questions I have understanding the new burner. I wanted to get a furnace that was more energy efficient. Roach Energy was the only one who could get me this. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly during the installation and after.

Except for the misunderstanding when we were informed the part had come in, hence learning that Sunfire and Roach are "related", the entire process was a positive one. They even rearranged the "stuff" that makes the fire glow and cleaned up thoroughly after they were finished.

My husband called me to say that in his effort to be helpful, he thought he'd clean behind the stove. In the process, he broke the propane line. I called Roach Energy and was nicely greeted and transferred to a service representative. I spoke with a friendly representative, Karen, who kindly and quickly checked the technician availability - she offered to call me right back. Karen called me back about 10 minutes later and said she had located a technician that could come to my home in about an hour and half.

About an hour and half or so later, a Roach Energy technician arrived at our home. He was clean, appropriately dressed, and professional. He was able to identify the repair needed and had the parts on hand. He also noticed that a safety shut off valve was missing from the original installation. He also had that part on hand and installed the safety shut off valve.

My husband and I not only appreciate the fact that Roach Energy could send a tech on such short notice, but I'm so happy that their technician was qualified and identified and corrected a huge safety issue. The pricing seemed fair. I was told over the phone that the charge would be $72 for the 1st half hour of service plus the cost of parts. All in all, our bill was $117.

We use Roach Energy as our propane supplier and have always been very happy with their service. This is the first time we've ever needed them for repair service, but we were equally as impressed. We would absolutely use Roach Energy again. As a matter of fact, we were so happy with the service that we inquired about additional services (larger propane tank to feed a fireplace and tankless waterheater) and was given very helpful information.
