PROFESSIONAL PLUMBING & HEATING

All the toilets were clogged and water was backing up in the shower. Lenny arrived. Immediately realized it wasn't a simple clog but found the septic tank needed to emptied. Found and cleared septic top.( I found out 15 yrs is too long to wait to pump a septic tank.) This should have cleared the way but a deep clog persisted. Lenny snaked our pipes from the septic back with little success and then from the inside out. Success! Lenny was very knowledgeable, persistent even after 4 hrs . He didn't make us feel stupid for not knowing how frequent to clean our septic and he kept us informed on progress. Having been taken advantage of by another plumbing company so time back we are pleased to say we will call Professional Plumbing for all our plumbing needs. Thank you!

Everything went great

Most recently I found a leak under my kitchen sink that I couldn't stop. i called professional plumbing that day. I said it was NOT an emergency, and we agreed on a date and time that worked with both our schedules. Their plumber arrived on time on the day agreed, quickly found that my problem was a damaged garbage disposal, and installed a replacement that morning. He was very knowledgeable and professional and cleaned up after he finished. In the past I have used them for all manner of other work, including digging up my front yard to replace collapsed plumbing outside the house. A few of the other times I have used them there seemed to have been internal miscommunications, and once or twice the crew has not shown up exactly when I expected them, but on the whole this is a first-rate operation that is capable of handling plumbing problems of any size. They are always polite and always do an excellent job of cleaning up after they are done. i will continue to call on them for any future plumbing work that I need.

So, the plumber came out and responded to our call in decent time. Apparently, it was the owner's p*** kid who was going on some rant about the weather and if it snowed one more time he's moving to Florida and how he's retiring @ age 40, this, that and the other. Obnoxious guy, whatever. He then proceeds to snake the drain until he figures out that apparently he has the wrong snaking machine and tells me he's going all the way back to the shop to get the other snake. When he comes back, I find out that I just got charged for the hour or so that it took him to go there and get back. I'm pretty disturbed at this point. Then, after he's finished doing that, he goes out to his truck to write the bill; this process takes him another 15 or so minutes. I'm like what the F is this guy doing!? He comes back and his first words to me are: 'well, your not going to like this..'
D*** right! This fool charged me $511.45 TO SNAKE THE DRAIN!!!! THAT'S HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!!! THEN....THE DRAIN BACKED UP AGAIN, SAME NIGHT! SO, THE GUY HAD TO COME BACK OUT THE NEXT DAY - CHRIST THANK GOD THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME AGAIN FOR THAT (PROBABLY BECAUSE I CALLED TO COMPLAIN PREVIOUSLY). THIS TIME THE OWNER (KID'S DAD APPARENTLY) CAME OUT TO MAKE SURE IT WAS DONE CORRECTLY. UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO WORK THAT DAY SO I WASN'T ABLE TO SPEAK TO THEM AND SO MY WIFE STAYED HOME. ANYWAY, DAMAGE ALREADY DONE; NEVER AGAIN.

I called to complain, but they didn't seem concerned. I told them I'd see them on Angie's list; I didn't forget!
Words of advice: DO NOT HIRE Professional Plumbing and Heating in Martinsburg WV. You will be sorry you did.

i called that morning and the company responded right away. The young man that came to mome was very professional and polite. He answered all of my questions. He completed the repair in a very timely manner. I wolud recomend the company and intend to use them again

Overall, the whole process was outstanding! The company appreciates their clients as demonstrated by a "thank you" card they sent a few days later!

The work was performed to standard.

He checked the elements in my hot water heater and found the bottom element was not heating hence the loss of hot water. The tank was drained, the element changed and the tank refilled. After the tank was full he checked the upper and lower thermostats and found the upper thermostat was defective. He replaced the defective thermostat.He patiently explained what he was doing and was most thorough and professional throughout the process. I do not intend to have any other plumbers other than Bob Walters and his crew at Professional Plumbing and Heating.
