A part had failed and the furnace would just keep turning on and off. They came in and diagnosed the problem, and set up a temporary fix to get us through the weekend. They arrived with the part on Monday and replaced it, and things have been great since. They did good quality work. They came on a Friday and were back on Monday to install the part, so I thought they did a very good job. I thought the pricing was fair for what they did. They were very professional, friendly guys. They were easy to talk to and easy to be in touch with. I would give them a very good rating.

The technician, Brandon, arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was friendly and cheerful and took a lot of pride in his work. After he was finished, he spent a few minutes showing me exactly what he had done. Definitely a pleasant experience -- customer service was A+!

The technician, Dave, showed up around 4 in the afternoon. He inspected our inside unit, taking off all of the covers and inspecting everything... from the breakers and relays to the nuts and bolts. He even inspected and cleaned the coils inside the unit. That is something our previous HVAC service technicians NEVER did. We went outside and he did the same with the outside unit... pulling the covers and checking all of the piping and checking all of the relays, nuts and bolts. He even checked the refrigerant levels and stated that they were slightly low but assured me that it would not be a problem. Dave was intent on making sure that I didn't have to spend any money that I didn't have to. Nevertheless, I was impressed by this previously unheard of level of service.
When he was finished, I asked him about getting our system on a service contract and he told me an amount which was very reasonable. When I asked him about the services he performed today, he stated what he would consider it our first maintenance visit and was no extra charge. Wow! You can't get much better than that! They may not be a big company but with that level of customer commitment, Mid-Atlantic HVAC has a customer for life.
When he was finished, I asked him about getting our system on a service contract and he told me an amount which was very reasonable. When I asked him about the services he performed today, he stated what he would consider it our first maintenance visit and was no extra charge. Wow! You can't get much better than that! They may not be a big company but with that level of customer commitment, Mid-Atlantic HVAC has a customer for life.

Our AC unit quit working over the Memorial Day weekend holiday. I tried to call two other companies to no avail. Tuesday morning, I got smart and went to Angie's list where I found this company listed. I called them around 7:55am and had a return phone call by 8:30am that same morning. I was told a service guy would be at my door between 11:00 - 1:00pm.
The service guy, Ron, showed up on our doorstep at 12:00 noon. His vehicle was clearly marked and he wore a uniform shirt identifying his company. My husband I explained to him that our air conditioner wasn't blowing cool air. He smiled and walked away and within 2 minutes he exclaimed and quot;I'll have this fixed for ya in less than 10 minutesand quot;.
True to his word, he located the problem and repaired it in less than 10 minutes. It turns out it was a bad capacitor. He said a capacitor to our AC unit is like a battery to a car. He offered to show me the bad part (clearly you could see something was wrong with it) and then did a side by side comparison with the new part. He finished up outside and went inside to make certain that everything was in good working order. Ron handed me the bill (the company prefers payment on delivery) and I was stunned to see how reasonable the charge was. The service call was $65 and the part was $73 for a total of $138.
Ron was professional and courteous at all times. I never once felt like I was being taken advantage of (which would be easy to do with a 100 degree heat wave). He was so professional, as a matter of fact, that we decided we'd like to use the company as our regular service contract provider.

Ron and his workers from Mid-Atlantic HVAC were extremely responsive, very knowlagable, and explained to me the answers for all of my question. I give Mid-Atlantic 2 thumbs up. I always know that i have the best coming to my home. Thank you Ron, and your workers for all of your hard work and taking care of myself and my family in a time of need.

Mid-Atlantic responded to my emergency call -- the furnace was not working and I was worried about the pipes in the house freezing with the extermely cold weather. They came out right away, and did a temporary fix to keep the furnace running while they ordered a part. I was able to just leave a key under the mat for when they returned at a later date for the final repair -- I did not even have to be there. It was all very easy, and they were polite, hard-working (working in the crawl space) and trustworthy. And, their estimate was about half of another heating/AC place I called.
