Some people can override it. But on my refrigerator, you have to replace the filter or you get no ice or no water. The service was excellent. They called back. First, they had to order the part. But then they called right back and told me it was in and came and set up a date. They are very quick to get to you too when you call them. They did it within a couple of days. I talked to the owner. He told me that they had appointments that week. I called back the next morning because he said he wanted me to talk to a technician to make sure that I needed anybody to come out. They didn't have to do that because they charge you $50 to come out. He said, "You want to talk to the technician in the morning and then schedule the appointment. Sometimes it's something you can do it easy while they got you on the phone." But, when I looked up, I could see that the part was a mess. I think I rammed it up too hard.

This was the second time I have called this company. Very friendly, courteous and ethical. I was trying to find a washer to purchase to replace mine as I thought it would be too expensive to repair. The service person told me there was a good chance it was just the pump on this particular model that was a problem. He had to take off the top, front and some other areas to get to the bottom of the machine where the filter was located. (alot of extra steps) He showed me the debris and backup issue. He said I didn't need a pump, just a filter cleaning. Once he cleaned it, it worked like new. many people had told me since the machine was 10 years old it was time to purchase a new one. He was fair and honest about the fix, didn't sell me additional parts, and told me that I probably could get a few years more out of it. Wow, what a great savings of 600-800 dollars.
The first time I called him was about my dryer element. He offered to just sell me the part or to come and install. of course, I had him install. He was very reasonable and it was another repair, part and installation under $100.00.
This is a very honest company and would recommend them to everyone for repairs.

Oven works fine. Repairmen were very careful in removing and replacing the oven unit. Came prepared.

A technician showed up that day with the new part. This was about 2 days after I called for service. He was there about 2 hours and even showed me what I could do to prevent failure in the future.

2007 Model Stove; burners worked but oven wouldn't. Fri., 1/10/2014: He came, checked it, said it needed the clock mechanism replaced as the stove and clock work off the same circuit. Ordered the part. Part arrived on Tues. 1/14 in the a.m., called said he would be here around noon. Arrived @ 11:55; replaced the circuit board; left at 12:43. Extremely polite, courteous, prompt, clean. Highly recommend them. My ice machine also was working minimally; he checked it, adjusted the temp., and it works perfectly now. No charge for that service.

My husband prefers to do his own repairs whenever possible. Mark's has sold us parts on several occasions. They have always been very helpful.

They were very prompt. The tech showed up and was very professional describing the basic operation of the refrigerator. After a short time he was able to find a bad relay. He did a basic cleaning of the compressor area, replaced the relay (which he had new on his truck) and was out the door. The repair was very affordable and he was orderly and efficient in his work. We would strongly recommend him for any large appliance repair.
