M & N was very courteous and responsive. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

Mike came out promptly and on time as scheduled. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He provided me with a detailed contract of what was to be done. I agreed to the contract and he came out as scheduled and performed the work. He removed all of the old shingles and re-roofed the house,including new aluminum drip edge, new pipe collars, new ridge vent, 30-year architectural shingles, and ice/water shields in the valleys,and re-flashed the chimney. The house is a large Cape Cod and roof is very steep and includes a double car garage. The job Mike did was superb, and still looks almost new after 8 years and some horrendous wind storms. We would definitely call Mike again if we should need any repairs or if for some unforeseen reason we needed a new roof..

We moved into our home about three months ago. A lot of the inspection problems were supposed to be fixed. We are finding the things were fixed wrong. With all the rain our roof started leaking. I contacted m- n roofing. Spoke with mike, he said they would be out to take a look at the leak. They arrived on time, surveyed the problem, advised what needed to be done. Advised they could do the job right then. They completed the job in a very professional way, unlike the previous workers. I would highly recommend them.

We called on M&N and Michael Gay to replace the roof on the home we had recently bought a few years ago. They did a beautiful job. Last winter we went to a home improvement show at the Martinsburg mall and met him again. We had not realized his company also did deck work. So he was one of the contractors we contacted for an estimate to replace our deck.
Michael Gay was very helpful when he came out to estimate the job. He even recommended another contractor for other work that we needed. He came back and brought composite deck samples and left them with us until we made up our minds. He was always very responsive to our questions and had no problem when we asked for hidden deck screws. We had researched the materials and costs prior to making our decision and found his estimate to be totally fair.
The team worked very efficiently for 4 days (plus one day demo). They were meticulous about properly leveling the deck and with alignment of all parts. They did everything possible to preserve and re-use the joists and beams, and reinforcing the supports. They also did an excellent job of cleanup. As a result we have a very safe, strong, and beautiful deck. M&N is batting one thousand with us and we would not hesitate to call on them again.

M&N came out and replaced our whole roof in 1 day. Will definitely use them again in the future.

My husband and I had been getting quotes from a variety of companies and M and N offered the best price and quick reliable service. We verified with Angie's List that Mand N Roofing was a good company and we were not disappointed. We are very pleased with our roof and how the job was handled. They also were careful with our surrounding landscaping and cleaned up well after the job each day. They also kept me informed of their progress along the way.

Start to finish this was a satisfactory experience. Michael Gay owner of M and N . Responded quickly to our initial request for an estimate. He came to do the estimate personally and made sure that we recieved the written estimate within a few days and followed up the estimate without being intrusive. Mr Gay was very helpful explaining our options, providing details , pros and cons of various choices and price differences.
The job started on time and was finished in a timely fashion delayed only by weather and unforseen difficulty removing the old roofing material. The entire crew was careful, causing as little dispruption as possible to our lawn and garden. Scott the foreman on the job was always helpful explaining various procedures and answering all our questions, giving us an education along with the roof.

The entire experience was great. I was given a timely estimate. The owner of the company was very personable and professtional. The crew did an excellent job in a timely manner. They preserved my plants and did an excellent job cleaning up. I couldn't even tell they had been there, other than the new roof. Would definitely recommend them and plan to use them for further work.

The end result of the job completed by Mand N roofing was very good. I am very satisfied. The not so glowing part is that I think it took entirely too long to finally nail down a date to complete the work. The building was under tarp for a month. The initial estimate was not honored until after a change in material suppliers was agreed upon. That was part of the delay. The contractor was also having some personal issues that contributed to delays or no responses to my phone calls. Take that into consideration. In the end, Mand N will do a nice job on your roof at least they did for me.

Everything went very well. They arrived every morning on time, put in a full day, and did an excellent job. All the guys were very professional, especially Herbert. They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. They were friendly, explained what they were doing and why and made adjustments when we asked them to. The completed project looks fantastic. When we had a leak after a hard rain, they were here the next day to find and fix it (it was only a loose screw.) We will definitely use them again when we need something done to the house or an outbuilding.

Mike, the owner, was the only person to give an estimate after calling two other roofers. He arrived the next day after calling and gave my husband and I an option of what shingles to buy and supplied a quote before leaving. After no other companies decided to reply, we decided M and N was the company for us. Mike returned with a contract , and we paid his requested half up front. Mike always kept us informed of when he would be starting and how long it would take. We were pleasantly surprised when he said it would probably be two days and they decided to work late and get it down in one day. Tarps were carefully draped from the roof as they discarded the old shingles so as they wouldn't damage any of my bushes or newly planted flowers. Trucks arrived with the shingles and they were carefully placed on the roof. The men went to work immediately, only taking one midmorning break and a lunch break. Once they were finished, we paid them the remainder of what the company was owed. One year labor warranty is included with the price.
