GREENFIELD'S

Description of Work: This began in June of last year. I had called to have someone come look at my A/C unit. It was new so I thought it had to be something simple. I called Greenfield's and ask if someone could come see what the problem was. I had told them that I had been in the attic and heard a hissing sound or possibly it could be a leak. (My other unit never made this noise.) Well they came out and the guy said it was low on freon, I thought ok well your the experts. It was later that summer and the A/C wasn't cooling so I contacted them again and someone came out, this time they said it was a leak at the outside unit so once again I thought ok your the experts. Well after the winter of 2010 I tried starting up the unit and once again it wasn't cooling so again I called Greenfield's and they came out and once again they said it was a leak at the outside unit. Well this was at least the third time I had mentioned the attic and the noise I heard coming from the unit, it was at the end of April beginning of May so the mornings were cool. About 2 weeks after that they had to come out because the A/C was no longer blowing cold air, the days when outside it was 99 and 95 degrees. They came out to put freon in the unit so the man wouldn't have to get in the attic when it was so HOT. I scheduled an appt. for the following week in the morning when it would be cooler. This could have all been avoided if they would have just checked the unit in the attic the first time. I called to see if they were going to bill for the upcoming appt. and she replied yes. I would not recommend Greenfield's to anyone who would want the job done right the first time.
