did not show up on start date, and we did not hear from him until days later when we contacted the police because we thought we had been conned. he then called and emailed. he took about a month to complete the fence, but i understand he was short handed. of the 3 gates, one already has loose gate posts and will have to be repaired. one gate has nail points sticking out 1/4 to 1/2 inches. there are gaps between the fence and the ground up to 6 inches where our dogs can get out. his "fix" for this was to grab logs we had and shove them in the spaces. when he was done he tried to charge us for changes to the design that he made without consulting us or permission. he told us he was lisenced and insured, but i was unable to find him on the WV list of lisenced contractors under his name or his companies name. we both were relieved when he left.

The weather made it difficult to get started. David & his co-worker, Troy were very friendly, professional & patient with me. It took some time for the fencing project to get completed, but the weather was not on our side. Overall, I was truly impressed with this company's knowledge of the trade, their professionalism & kindness. After they were finished, I almost felt as if these guys were family! I have several home repair projects that I will be calling on them to complete. I also would refer them to neighbors, family & friends. Very happy customer.

His pricing is very reasonable. From contract signing to completion was 8 weeks (he said 2-3 weeks at contract signing). Excuses were: wrong pickets received, storm/power outage his place, needed to get building permit,Miss Utility was late, and too hot. Communications is not his strong suit. Had to threaten him with a lawyer at one point and he became irriated. He bought wrong style pickets without informing us and blamed it on his distributor. Sloppy cleanup. By completion date we were so disgruntled with him and just wanted him off our property. He talks a good talk (when he does communicate with you), but does not walk the walk.

"Yes I was late on this job, BUT, it was when we had the big storm and i was one of the unlucky ones who had to wait til last to have power back on, and for the pickets in fence he said was ok, the style he wanted was being dis-continued, so if he needed a repair on that style would be challenging, he said on job all is ok but yet he gave me a poor review"

He's a decent guy and has a small business, but he just didn't have any follow through. His prices were really good. The experience with them was unsatisfactory. I wouldn't recommend them. They agreed to do the fence, and they told me it would take a week to get it done. I gave them a down payment. Two weeks later and nothing was done. I had to constantly call him again and again to get a response. I finally got my money back after threatening to get a lawyer.

"Yea he is correct, at the time i took on a lttle to much work than i could handle, I did learn not to take on work like that again, but i will say again, i dont keep deposit money if i dont get to the job, SO I DID GIVE HIM HIS DEPOSIT BACK 100% IN FULL"

"this guy really does not understand that i had no control over the storm end results with me having no power, one mistake and this customer would leave me a message on my voicemail, but when in person face to face he didnt have nothing to say, but he didnt tell you in the end how beautiful of a job i did for him, great guy but I felt he doesn't think nobody is perfect, again, he got his fence unlike some companies would of just ripped him off and kept his money, I don't rip no customer off and on his and all other contracts state BALANCE DUE WHEN SATISFIED AND COMPLETE, well he paid balance and he acted like he was a friendly customer to my face but yet gives me a bad responce, like I say, people do make mistakes but the good people make it up, AND I DID"

The esitimate was much lower than other companies. The start date was a few days late and the crew started later in the day then was expected; they didn't work full days and it took a little longer than expected completion date. The overall completed project was good and for the cost, the delays were tolerable The fence line was straight and gates operational. Later in the month I did have some trouble getting them back to correct a gate issue (one of the boards started to bow) , but they finally came back and fixed it. There were a couple of detailing issues but nothing that I would consider major.
