Tom Rice and his crew did an excellent job - the roof is beautiful. They were so prompt and dependable, came when they promised, and even started the job ahead of schedule. Tom and his crew worked long days to get the job done. And it was done right. They came back the day after they finished the installation to make sure the gutters were clean and ran a magnet around the yard to make sure there were no nails left behind. Pretty well. My only complaint is that a finial was knocked off of a newel post on the PVC railing on our front steps and was damaged. This was repaired and put back on, but not glued. I think it should have been replaced with a new one and properly attached. Didn't find it until after the job was done and I was cleaning the railing before putting garland on it for Christmas. Also there is a bump on one of the ridges that wasn't there before. This is as you look at the front of the house; a dormer on the rear of the house ties in there. I'm guessing that because we chose a better quality shingle they are thicker than the old ones and that's causing the bump. I don't like how it looks, but I'm not sure it could be helped.
