Dave was very professional, quick, efficient, and reliable. I contacted him through Angie's List one evening and he was here the next morning, gave me a quote, we agreed on it, and the project was done within 10 days.  They cleaned everything up.  It was wonderful.  My father died the day I contacted him and it was great working with someone who I had total trust and confidence in during this stressful time.

They were not on site the majority of the time. Left major decisions to subs which cost time and added expense . Skill level not what claimed uses subs who moonlight so work is not consistent uses sub par materials low balls estimate then asks for changes. Just not contractor to hire
Will be forced to seek remedy in court.

Estimate based on labor only. I was responsible for materials. His craftsmanship was good when he performed the work. He contracted pretty much everything out to someone else and he rarely visited to inspect their work. He didn't return to finish. I had special ordered shower doors, interior door jams were dragging the floor and plumbing still isn't hooked up. I made the mistake of paying him the last installment. Floor tile is 2 different colors..I never received receipts for materials purchased and they left with some of our personal tools. They also left without cleaning up their mess. I would not recommend to anyone.

Do not get this guy under any circumstances. He didn't measure stuff, including the cabinets. He didn't seal the sink and nailed laminate flooring down. He also had to pull up the tile that he laid because there were over 1/2 " gaps in some places. We have reached out to the Attorney General regarding the issues and now have to bring in another contractor to provide an estimate for repairs on the work he performed. I wouldn't allow him to build me an outside toilet.
Response from Mountaineer Home Repairs
"I'll address his bid one by one: Family room flooring was installed against manufacturer instructions per request of the homeowner I tried to tell them beforehand but they wanted it their way. Laminate in dining room does not need replaced. Ceramic in utility room would be okay if they didn't walk all over it before the adhesive set up. The bid they got was for what they wanted done, not what needed to be done. This member is nothing more than someone who wants something for nothing. Sue happy. I should have taken charges out on him. The member is nothing more than a crook!"

I like them and they have good manners. I just do not like their work. There was a hole in the kitchen floor and they just put chip board over it instead of cutting it out. They tried to cut too many corners when fixing the problem. I think the price that they charged was outrageous.

"This was an insurance job the home owner wanted to keep the insurance money instead of paying the agreed upon price this caused a big problem between myself and him."

They are a good company. The quality of work was good. They are good people. They were easy to get along with. They do whatever the home owner needs. Their prices are great.
Response from Mountaineer Home Repairs
"Thank you for your kind comments like I tell all my customers call if you need anything"
