Cougar Metal Roofing

Bill was here three times. Each time was within a minute of the scheduled time. Very informed, easy to get along with. I called four other roofers and Bill was the only one to return my call. The price was very reasonable.

First off I was told the job would only take a day or a day and a half at the most and it took almost 2 weeks and I have a small roof. It took so long because every time I turned around he was taking a break. He killed my grass by leaving sheets of metal in it and I asked him not to do that and he said he wouldn't. Every day he was there he smelled like straight alcohol not to mention a bunch of beer cans fell out of his van and I caught him drinking a beer on my roof along with cigarette butts all over my property. He had a very foul mouth and was so rude to the people helping him with the roof. He does not have insurance and this girl working for him got hurt and he would not allow her to leave to go seek medical attention; he told her if she left he would not pay her for the time she worked (she along with the two guys worked harder then he did). He didn't measure my roof correctly therefore he didn't order enough metal so he then had to order more metal costing me more money. I figured that because he was the one who messed up that he would be the one to pay for his mess up. He treated his employees so badly that I couldn't understand why they where working for him. His secretary who was the girl that also helped put on the roof was so polite and nice to my family. She was constantly apologizing for the way he was acting and talking to my family and me. I would hire the 3 working for him before ever hiring him again. Overall my experience with Bill from Cougar Metal Roofing was BEYOND HORROFYING. NEVER again will he be asked to come back to my property.
