Unfortunately, our experiences with this vet clinic over time became untenable after we received very poor advice and care for our older furry family members. We found a Vet at this clinic arrogant and dismissive, which was unacceptable when dealing with our loved ones. We consulted a vet at another business and left the Inwood Vet Clinic. This clinic did not always communicate well which compromised pet care and we found that their records were not always updated. We did not appreciate that they charged significantly more for medicine and food when it can be obtained from other sources much cheaper. Please research your vet care choices very carefully to protect your loved ones that cannot speak for themselves.

We've been taking our cat there since we adopted him. They have done all his vaccinations and his neutering, and we've had him board there. We've been very pleased with the service and how kind they were to our cat. They were understanding of his unhappiness with this strange environment and were professional and efficient in the way they handled him. He got checked out and given his shots with a minimum of discomfort to him, and was back in the comfort of my arms very quickly.

They are fairly expensive. Our previous vet did not charge for office visits if only immunizations are issued. We have been here twice so far and the bill has been over $100 each time. Despite the distance, I think we will be going to our old vet (out of state) for the next round of services. I'm sorry, but our pets should not be their cash cows.
Aside from the egregious over charging, they are a fairly capable vet and I have no other complaints.

At first they were boarding the cats in the same room with the dogs. We requested they not be because they were unaccustomed to dogs and the racquet they were making. Both of the cats were drop-offs as kittens, the second one was very ill. He pulls his hair and had black g*** packed in his ears. I couldn't tell you if at any tine an actual vet saw them. First I was told that he had allures, probably to food and yet when I brought him to board with food of his own I was scoffed at. I don't like to be made to feel stupid, especially when I was following their advice! They told me that the black tar in his ears was not mites, but probably bacteria. They did give me something to d***** his ears with, but it was quite ineffective. When I brought him back for check up, I was told that I was not properly applying the liquid and that I HAD to make sure he was clean enough for them to see to his eardrums. I since have changed to hydrogen peroxide to clean his ears (works so much better), and did not go back to have hm checked.
Several times I brought them both to board....and even tho' they have the records in front of them, they want to know if I want their nails trimmed....what nails???? They are declawed!!! I don't believe the records are kept complete, b/c they have no clue about the advice I have been given in previous visits.
119Twice after boarding, they sent me notices about boosters needed within a few days. I ask why this could not have been done while they were there? Once I was charged additional fees for an office visit because they had to examine a cat for a condition that they were already aware of (or should have been).

First of all, I must take my hat off to vet techs Amber and Brandon. You are both amazing. I'm not big on writing reviews but when I saw how low the scores were for Inwood I had to give my opinion. I have taken my dogs and cats to Inwood ever since I moved into the area. I considered changing after I moved to Summit Point so I wouldn't have such a long drive. However, after looking at other vets prices I decided to stay. We have used them for minor things such as vaccinations all the way to X-rays and serious bone/neurological/muscular issues. They have always treated us good and fulfill special requests we my have. Staff is very friendly and the Doctors are amazing. If you aren't in a good place financially like us, just let them know and they will let you know what other options you have. They will not perform unnecessary tests.

We have been using them for a couple of years and they are fantastic. We didn't pay them directly, we went through SpayToday today because they work with SpayToday and it would be three quarters cheaper than normally. Otherwise, one can expect about $100 to $110 for spaying one cat. We pay them for the vaccinations and depending on the vaccine, it comes to about $35 to $40. They care about my animals, you can tell that they are compassionate and they are genuinely concerned about the animals. If there is an emergency and I call them, they would ask me to come right over, so they try to accommodate you as much as they can. After hours, they have an emergency center that I can get to in Hagerstown.

First of all, LOVE THE STAFF! Everyone is very sweet! Must warn you, you have to pay when services are rendered, though. If you can not afford a vet bill, you shouldn't have pets!We have taken our mastiffs here ever since I was little. They're prices are the best around. When our mastiff now hurt his paw, they took us in right away. When we came in they did not do intimidate x-rays or blood work. The Dr. sent us home with antibiotics and pain meds because she thought it was an infection and inflamation of soft tissue (which can not be seen through xray anyway). The meds were the most expensive part but understandable because he is a large dog. We have a recheck tomorrow.

Overall, the experience was terrible. Not only did they overdosed my cat, they expected me to pay the entire $800.00 balance. I did not bring my cat there for them to kill him!
