We'd never had anyone clean our house before, but we have a large house and I thought it would be a nice idea to give my wife a gift certificate for house cleaning.  I purchased a gift certificate from Home Solutions 4 U.  We requested that they come to our house and do the "Deep Cleaning" service.  We stressed two times that we had a large house and wanted to make sure they allotted enough time to provide the service.  Two cleaners were sent.  They were very nice and polite.  After 3 hours they said they were done and accepted payment and left.  At first glance, things seemed ok.  But then we started noticing a film on most services, then we noticed unswept areas, dirty window sills, dirty toilets.  The dining room table had crumbs on it.  The website lists specific tasks that are included with the deep cleaning service:  cleaning of windows sills, baseboards, fixtures, blinds, chair rails, top of the fridge and inside appliances....none of that had been done.  From what we can see, the area where they started, upstairs in the master bathroom, was the cleanest.  But we suspect they realized they were way over their heads for what time they had allotted so they started skipping the "deep" part of the cleaning.  We contacted the owner Stacy Robinson and she offered us a full refund.  This company had come recommended, so we thought maybe it was just a fluke and we do recognize the cleaners did do some work, so instead of accepting the full refund, we asked for a partial refund in the form of a credit that we could use for their babysitting services.  That was agreed upon.  On 4/24 we asked if we would be getting the credit via another gift card and Stacy said yes, she would mail it.  On 5/16 we inquired on the status and Stacy said she would email an electronic copy of the gift certificate.  On 5/24, we emailed "Works for me" thinking she was waiting for us to say an email was ok.  On 6/9, we were fed up and asked for a full refund, which she had offered two months earlier.  She said she would drop the check off at our house that day.  No check arrived.   On 6/11 she emailed and told us her lawyer advised her that she did not have to refund us the money.  I'm truly disappointed that I got my wife the gift certificate from this company.  It brought nothing but stress to her.  We will never use this company again and will never recommend them.  We hope that others do not end up in a dispute with them, because their true colors will shine through.  

Person arrived on time or called if there was a problem.
Could be a little more professional, although cleaners are pleasant.
Often places cleaned were not left in the order in which they were found.
Willing to work with you on requirements.

They do charge extra for some things. It is worth more than what you pay. I got quotes from other cleaning services and for what they did it would have been twice as much. They are super fast at responding. The will notify you by text, email, phone call or however you need it. I have even recruited my job to use them.
