SAMMY'S SERVICE

Do not use Sammy’s Service.  I have had a time with them.  It was just madness.  I looked on Angie’s List and they came highly recommended.  I scheduled on a Monday.  He cancelled it and rescheduled for Tuesday, didn’t show up.  He rescheduled for Wednesday, didn’t show up.  Thursday he said his tech couldn’t come because of a funeral.  He wanted to do it in an hour on Friday and I said there was no way.  They came on Saturday and tracked mud all through my house.  They ran out of water. Then they didn’t soak up the water and the stains didn’t come out.  I paid extra for deodorizer. It took over three days for the carpet to dry.  It was horrible.  He said they don’t guarantee furniture.  When I was surprised he said they should have explained that to me.  We had the room emptied out except for my coffee table which is a high end expensive piece. They banged it and beat the crap out of it going through the doorway.  I took pictures.  They had to use all my water.  They were backward and rude.  He brought another guy with him that looked like a hippie.  It turns out he was just a friend who he had been out with the night before.  I didn’t want someone in my home that is not insured and bonded.  I will never use them again.    The price was too high.  I could have gone in and hose down the carpet.  And it stunk.  They gave me booties to walk on it because it was so wet.  We had to cut the Styrofoam to put under the furniture legs.  I would have been better off courtesy-wise and price-wise to go with someone else.  I’m very disappointed and upset.
