The purchase of our washer and dryer went smoothly. However, on the delivery date about a week later, we were at home for several hours awaiting delivery. The delivery people apparently pulled into our area, called a wrong number, never knocked on our door to confirm whether we were or were not at home and left. We discovered this when we called near the end of our scheduled delivery window, at which time we were additionally told they would not be returning with our delivery that day. After I complained, they did return, but the delivery people were rude and short with us. In the end, the delivery people showed us that our new washer was cosmetically damaged and left us, taking it with them. It took us another several days and phone calls to the company up to the corporate level to get another one, at which time we were told that the damaged washer could have been left with us until a replacement arrived. We were never offered any type of compensation for our trouble by the company. Senior management was very responsive to our situation, but all in all, it was a very disappointing experience.
